A new build of B/W Stoneblade designed by my friend.
CARDS
Main Deck
Orim's Chant
can act as a pseudo-Time Walk.
Batterskull and Umezawa's Jitte are pretty self-explanitory for this deck.
Sword of Light and Shadow gives me protection from Swords to Plowshares/other white and black removal, and acts as graveyard recursion if a Stoneforge Mystic or a Mother of Runes dies.
Sword of Fire and Ice gives me card advantage, clears blockers, and gives me main deck protection for Merfolk and Delver lists.
I'm only using 3 Squadron Hawks because by the time I'd play the third or fourth one, I have much better things to do with my mana (like slap a sword on one that I've already played.)
If I had them, the Oblivion Rings would be Vindicates. Hopefully I can get those soon...
Liliana of the Veil synergizes well with Lingering Souls and can keep my opponent from landing a threat.
Liliana of the Dark Realms can help me tutor up lands, thus thinning my deck (maybe obvious, but she can fetch duals), and her second ability can beef a sword-carrier even more.
Elspeth, Knight-Errant can make sword-carriers/chumps and pump up my sword-carriers.
Sideboard
A second Batterskull, because the first one will usually eat it in some matchups.
Sword of Feast and Famine: I'm not sure if I should run this or Sword of Body and Mind. Both give me protection from Tarmogoyf, but I'm not sure which one's abilities would be better suited for the list now that Restoration Angel got the boot...
Ghostly Prison and
Engineered Plague
are for agro matchups, and Plague wrecks Merfolk, Delver, and Goblins if it sticks.
Surgical Extraction for combo lists, and it along with Tormod's Crypt for Reanimator or Ichorid.
Suggestions and CC are most welcome. I'm trying to have this all put together and finished before the end of August, because I'll be taking this to the Star City Games tournament in Denver.
