My version of BW Tokens without Fetchlands. The cost is decent ~$150-$200 and is a very fun deck to get into Modern with.
Creatures:
Hero of Bladehold
- Good finisher, generate tokens, mini anthem.
Planeswalker:
Elspeth Tirel
- Would argue is better than Elspeth, Knight-Errant due to all 3 abilities being very relevant in this deck. Can gain life, generate tokens, and board sweep for 5CMC.
Token Generators:
Raise the Alarm - Good instant tokens, downside is no flying.
Lingering Souls - One of the best token generators, 5cmc for 4 tokens.
Spectral Procession - Decent generator but can be hard to cast without Fetches.
Spells:
Thoughtseize - Great combo interrupter, protection from sweepers, hate cards.
Path to Exile - Great removal for early game aggressors and fatties late game.
Doom Blade
- Same as above.
Zealous Persecution - Great against Weenies, other tokens, and combat tricks.
Land:
Godless Shrine - Shock land, pretty standard.
Isolated Chapel - Works well with Godless Shrine.
Vault of the Archangel - Great for life gain and combat tricks when blocking or attacking.
Sideboard:
Dismember - Goyf
Engineered Explosives - Bogles, Affinity, Tokens
Rest in Peace - Snapecaster, graveyard hate
Rule of Law - Storm
Stony Silence - Pod, Affinity
Sundering Growth
- Affinity, Twin, Bogle
