Here's my take on B/W Life Gain/Drain Allies. At the theorycrafting stage so would love feedback.

For the mainboard, I want to build up my boardstate until I win. Most of my creatures come into play fairly weak and I'd prefer not to chump block. Ayli, The Eternal Pilgrim and Immolating Glare should allow me to weather some of the super aggro while I get my life gain engines online. March from the Tomb lets me come back if I do need to block or recover from board wipe.

Otherwise, the deck is built around lifegain/drain triggers to start a clock regardless if I can afford to attack. Bloodbond Vampire, Cliffhaven Vampire, and Serene Steward make those triggers even better. The latter two increase their threat the longer the stay on the board.

Gideon is obviously great in an ally deck. Oath of Gideon makes him even better. I was in search of another 3 drop and Vampire Envoy doesn't seem like mainboard material. Considering Captain's Claws. They're great with Drana but they require me to be the aggressor.

Sideboard

Drana, Liberator of Malakir - to go faster

Lantern Scout - against aggro to win the race

Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet - against Rally decks, other graveyard shenanigans, and grindy board stall games

Duress - against board wipe and Rally decks

Transgress the Mind - Duress + exile annoying creatures before they come into play. Maybe 4 of rather than Duress?

Make a Stand - against board wipe and board stalls. Might switch to Virulent Plague

Utter End - exile is good
