Summary

You put down turn 3 cards down like: Drana's Emissary, Vampire Cutthroat, and Vampire Envoy to gain life from multiple sources every turn. Turn 4 and 5 is when this deck excels by putting down cards like: Bloodbond Vampire, Cliffhaven Vampire, Kalastria Nightwatch, and Nirkana Assassin because they all get buffed from sources of healing.

Why I Chose the Other Cards

Markov Crusader: This card might not benefit from gaining life, but you should have vampires out on the battlefield by the time you have 5 mana. This creature not only has life link but haste.

Transgress the Mind: For 2 mana, to LOOK and EXILE a target creature under is amazing.

Dazzling Reflection, Rush of Vitality, and Tandem Tactics: These cards are in the deck for the same reason; another source of health, with a good ability.

Retreat to Hagra: This is another good 3 mana card that gives you another source of health when every you put down a land.
