Battle brawler seems like it should have 4 copies.

rdmcabee:Battle Brawler is an incredible card. The whole deck is a delicate balance of tempo vs power level. I have considered finding space for it but It never quite seduces me into making the change. I have made some changes to the removal package recently to respond to perceived changes in the meta so I am trying to get a feel for how they have affected the tempo of the deck currently.

I was wondering what, if any, changes you might make now that Dragons of Tarkir is out.

I've been running a BW Warrior deck as well, with decent results (considering I don't play that much).

I've picked up a couple of Secure the Wastes, but that doesn't do much if my opponent has a Silumgar, the Drifting Death on board.

I havn't settled on a version yet. I noticed Secure the Wastes is amazing against sweepers. As they are about to drop there 5th land and crux or end, just hold up your mana, then eot drop 3 or 4 warrior tokens into play and keep wrecking face

Great deck! I have also built and playtested a B/W warrior deck, which focuses on different winning conditions. Check it out here and tell me what you think:http://deckstats.net/decks/32740/219128-warriors-of-tarkir-aggro-a-bud/enI am really curious whethere a "pure" creature-aggro like yours with some protection cards works better than having permanents that raise the warriors' power after turn 4 or so, making it very hard to lose the game after that. Have you tried that, too? I would also really like to use Athreos, but he's too expensive (I'm going for a budget deck :-).If you do have playtesting experience with Secure the Wastes or Obelisk of Urd or Raiders' Spoils, do post it! I will be playtesting again on Monday, first time with the Obelisk and Raiders' (before, it was "pure" aggro as well).

Have you considered Foul-Tongue Shriek? Easy to get 3-4 damage and life gain for 1 mana.

Hey, thanks for the comments,

This list was not updated with DTK. I have put down the archetype since it picked up so many players recently and seems to be less of a surprise. I was looking for something that would be more complex to interact with.

schuppius: I was very much focused on speed and compensating for the lack of top end power by ensuring that it was very consistent, because of that obelisk and raiders spoils where not the right cards, they both were too slow for my tactics. They could be good in a different build. Secure the Wastes is better in a deck that runs more lands. my response to board wipes is to dash a Mardu Strike Leader felt good to tap out against UB control, bait a crux, then keep swinging the next turn with strike leader.

zamsonov: I would much rather cast Brutal Hordechief. strictly better as a finisher effect since at the time in the game you would cast this you would rather have more power than save on the casting cost, as it is likely one of the last cards in your hand.

Is Chief of the Scale worth it? Seems like you don't really care about toughness in this deck. I might take it out for 2 Battle Brawler and two Pitiless Horde.
