Maybeboard

Mono-Green Dungeon Venture Elf-Ball. There are definitely better Elf-Ball Commanders, but Varis, Silverymoon Ranger seemed so fun for it even if the "this ability triggers only once each turn" clause on his venture ability is a little restrictive (but that just makes it more fun and rewarding to build around); furthermore, the title influenced by our commander's name, By the Light of the Silvery Moon, is the name of an old barbershop standard. Barbershop music is one of my passions outside of Magic, so finding a connection, however tenuous, was enough to inspire this deck.

Several cards in the deck are geared towards giving our creature spells flash in order to get more Venture triggers off of our commander. Aside from that, relatively average elfball I believe. Varis, Silverymoon Ranger is a neat little card to build around getting Venture value until assembling a combo with Wirewood Symbiote and Temur Sabertooth with something like a Marwyn, the Nurturer, Elvish Archdruid or Selvala, Heart of the Wilds for infinite mana, card draw, and any other effects the dungeons offer.

                                                       Enjoy!
