An experiment in the hopes to make a solid deck out of a strategy that is very weak and needlessly risky.

Other current contenders for Commanders are as follows:

Noyan Dar, Roil Shaper: By far the most economic Awaken of all time, but his colors and high cmc leave a bit to be desired

Korvold, Fae-Cursed King: Great card draw as well as +1/+1 counter synergy, but doesn't offer much insurance to protect our lands.

Sek'Kuar, Deathkeeper: A strategy to animate lands then board wipe is intriguing and eliminates much of the risk.

Child of Alara: A boardwipe to clear our opponents boards for our lands, but that is it.
