yea i play with a version of this and mogcatcher works great. if you got 6 mana free i tend to grab kiki jiki first copy the mogg catcher then fetch again for a krenko of seige gang.best part is ya get to cast your high cost goblins for 3 and they cant be counter spelled
Grinning ignus + Purphoros, God of the Forge + Ruby Medallion : Infinite damage
I'm sure the combo above don't work, you run out of red mana after a bit. medallion is 1 colourless less not red (maybe im missing something?)
I really like your build and this concept. Thanks for the great idea, if i find more exceptional cards i'll let you know

Wow this deck is awesome! +1 UPVOTE! Thanks for having me look at it. If i had even half these cards i'd try to build one sorta like it but i don't have many Modern, Vintage, or Legacy cards like you have. I have alota Standard though. Any recommendations on how to build a deck around Purphoros with more Standard cards and some Modern/Legacy cards? I'd like to change my Commander deck to all Goblins with Krenko, Mob Boss as my Commander or perhaps the new Legendary Goblin from Battle for Zendikar anyways. So i'd like to build an all new Purphoros "God" Commander Deck. Thanks for your help. Hope to hear back from you. Ttyl.

One comment I think is relevant; Grinning Ignus + Ruby Medallion + Purphoros, God of the Forge is not an infinite combo. Grinning ingus costs 2R, and his ability is R. The medallion only removes 1 from the casting of him, so you're left over with one colourless mana rather than one red mana. Unless you have something to infinitely change colourless to red, there's no way to use these to an infinite.

@namethatdontexist & Sikening you guys are right - that is not the combos you're looking for.
I have updated the deck description. It is still a very good combo even though it does not go infinite.
Cheers

FYI: Impact Tremors does trigger off of tokens and it is as insane as you think it will be in this type of deck.

Sweet, sweet deck. +1 from me and I'm gonna work on my own version using yours as an outline.

I would definitely have Goblin Rabblemaster and Goblin Piledriver

I been having some really good results with Skirk Fire Marshal. Good board wipe and can end the game abruptly. Goblin as well so you can tutor for it when you need it.

There's a couple good Goblin cards that came out in KTK, let's see if I can remember what they're called. I think they were Goblinslide and Hordeling Outburst. Sweet, I didn't have look the cards up on gatherer, the links worked.

Thank you for the feedback!
@namethatdontexist: The Skirk Fire Marshal looks promising, and I'll think about what to take out. Do you have any suggestions?
@K34: Hordeling Outburst is in the deck, and Goblinslide was taken out in the 2.0 update :)

Some other thoughts based on your notes:
Goblin Assassin - gives you a way to suppress your opponents' creatures
Mindmoil - really helps you get through your deck to the cards you need

The new Blade of Selves might be worth including. Attack with a Goblin Matron, and you get tutor triggers. Attached to a Beetle-Back Chief, and you get crazy token gen. Warstorm Surge is also a good idea, albeit expensive, with the number of tokens you make. And if you run those two cards, you can't not include Hamletback Goliath. It gets crazy big with the myriad triggers, usually will almost certainly be lethal

Thank you for the suggestions!
I like both Goblin Assassin and Mindmoil, but I can't see what I should drop for any of them. The control that the Assassin would grand me, would really help.
Blade of Selves seems like an auto-include for this deck, even though the equip cost is quite high. I'll have to think about what to drop.
Warstorm Surge was in the initial version of the deck, but I found it took expensive and took it out in favor of more creaturs.

Chancellor of the Forge could be a good addition as well, albeit it is expensive to play. Late game, though, he could really swing the game in your favor

What to drop for Blade of Selves??? I'm thinking Mind's Eye, but I'm not too fond of dropping one of my best draw options.
On the other hand Blade of Selves is too good not to run in this deck. There are so many creatures that will work extremely well with it.

Do you feel you have enough draw in this deck? Might want to consider Magus of the Wheel or Wheel of Fate.

@platinumtoofaim The draw is pretty weak - Magus of the Wheel is an exellent suggestion!

Changes
- Sensei's Divining Top --> Magus of the Wheel (faster game, more synergy)
- Goblin King --> Blade of Selves (tough call, but I expect it to be worth it)

To clarify, you're playing Mogg Infestation on yourself, right?
I'm also surprised you're not running Warstorm Surge, since a lot of your strategy is based on creatures ETBing

I run a Purphoros combo deck as well, you should check it out I bet you could find a couple of good suggestions. My deck consistently deals lethal damage by turn 6 and as as early as turn 3. Purphoros, Shock Master

Thank you for the feedback.
- Mogg Infestation is there to replace my own creatures for another set of etb triggers
- Warstorm Surge is too slow for this deck, as it will essentially be a dead round - I would much rather tutor a creature og play a fatty.
@MagicBlake cool, I'll check it out.
Happy Holidays.

Seems like you've got enough artifacts in the deck to make good use of Myr Incubator. You could also add Great Furnace to up your artifact count by an extra one.

Might I suggest a Vandalblast and Blasphemous Act for some board control?? Only one instant, great chance to put a Price of Glory in. Great deck!
MrHighscore says... #1
@namethatdontexist you are right - I'll have to find room for those mercenaries. Added to the maybeboard for now.
Cheers
