The deck has two combos in it. The first is Archangel of Thune + Spike Feeder . Activate Spike Feeder 's final ability to gain 2 life. When you gain the 2 life, Archangel of Thune 's ability triggers, putting a counter back on the Spike Feeder , which you can then remove to activate it's ability again, which triggers Archangel of Thune again, etc. Continue repeating until you have a very, very high life total, as well as a very, very large Archangel of Thune .

The second combo in the deck is Dark Depths + Thespian's Stage . Activate Thespian's Stage targeting Dark Depths (typically during your opponent's end step). When the ability resolves, you have two copies of Dark Depths , so the legend rule kicks in. Choose to keep the copy, sacrificing the original. Since Thespian's Stage didn't enter the battlefield as it copied Dark Depths , it doesn't have the counters, so it's ability triggers, making a Marit Lage token. Then, assuming you copied Dark Depths during your opponent's end step, untap and swing for twenty with a 20/20 flying indestructible Marit Lage token.

The Archangel of Thune + Spike Feeder combo can be assembled with the creature tutors, including Birthing Pod and Survival of the Fittest . The Dark Depths (CSP + Thespian's Stage combo can only be reliably assembled with a Primeval Titan trigger, but any of the creature tutors can search up Primeval Titan .
