I'm a new player, who is just getting back in to Magic after quitting 17 years ago! This is a FNM standard legal black deck that started as a pure zombie wreck and has been transformed to it's current state thanks to the help of people on this site! I thank you all for your help. I'm always up for suggestions, and once the block rotates, I'll be looking for even more help.

This deck was built thanks to the help of people on this board, and a lot of the suggestions I followed were explained, but even in a simple mono black deck like this one, the deck had more tricks up it's sleeve than I realized.

I realized during play with someone at my local shop, I could play Geralf's Messenger dealing 2 damage to my opponent, then swing with my Bloodthrone Vampire. If the attack went unblocked, I could sacrifice my Geralf's Messenger pumping my Bloodthrone Vampire to 3/3 then with undying bring him back to deal another 2 damage, all in one turn. 7 damage won me the game. As a new player this was a bit of a revelation to me. I realize to most of you it is second nature, but to me it uncovered the fact that knowing all the interactions your deck can have is vital to success. I look forward to playing around with my deck some more and seeing what else I can do!
