This deck's win condition is dealing 21 commander damage with Rafiq of the Many. The ideal situation is casting Rafiq at a time in which he can be protected from spells and abilities, is unblockable and is enhanced by spells and abilities. Rushing Rafiq's summon can draw aggro from other players, as well as leaving Rafiq vulnerable to cost inflation. There are two main paths to take when playing this deck.

Rush Down; Your early mana draw is strong. You are able to protect Rafiq ex: Whispersilk Cloak, enhance Rafiq ex:Rancor and are able to deal commander damage to the player you see as the most dangerous to your quick victory. Do so. You will draw aggro from the player you attack and the players who do not see a way to stop Rafiq from fulfilling the win condition. The deck is filled with life gain, consistently attack the player you see as the most dangerous without fear ex:Loxodon Warhammer. Develop your battlefield with spells and abilities designed to protect and enhance Rafiq as you mercilessly reduce each opponent's life total's to zero. The end.

Delayed; Something is slowing you down. Examples: You are unable to protect Rafiq, are dealing with an opponent who appears to have strong card destruction/control or you have a resource problem. Delay Rafiq's summon and remain active with crowd control tactics. Examples; Slow other players down Arrest cards, develop your battlefield while remaining active with your Creatures Knotvine Paladin, and Board Wipes Hallowed Burial. Develop your battlefield with spells and abilities designed to protect and enhance Rafiq as you mercilessly reduce each opponent's life total's to zero. The end.
