how about some lord effects like Honor of the Pure , Crovax, Ascendant Hero , and Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite

Thanks for the suggestions. I definitely agree with all of them. I wish Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite wasn't so expensive because she was always a no-brainer for this deck. What are your thoughts on things to get rid of? I can definitely drop to 40 mana and get rid of Pacifism , but I'm not sure what else.

To be perfectly honest with an average cmc of 3.5ish you could easily play 35-37 land. I love lifegain and have played it several times but you should always remember life doesn't win you games, it just keeps you alive for longer. I would look at cutting out some of the non utility lifegain like Staff of the Sun Magus and perhaps Vigil for the Lost .

I'm also considering Light from Within instead of Honor of the Pure
