@DimirQueen it stands up alot better now, but I have not been able to test it out properly. (lacking resources) but generally If I play it (casual) I win nine times out of ten.my Steam Izz it deck does a good job against it though.

Really nice deck! It has a certain uniqueness to it. This looks like one of those decks I would absolutely hate to play against. Definently got my vote!

Nice deck +100 from me. Don't think there is much to say about... But could you possibly look at my deck and give any suggestions to me?

and what can we do against enchantments, artefacts and planewalkers?

November 19, 2013 11:06 p.m.

MrKnify says... #6

@skyw4rp bounce, counter really they are not that important without cards to help them work. For the most part nobody plays heavy enchantment (not creature - enchantment) in standard.

Is this a good deck for FNM? +1

@Jrjersey01 it surprises people for sure.

skyw4rp yes its awesome for annoying opponents. The downside is explaining the rules for it to EVERY opponent.

wight could work, but it actually slows the deck down a bit. as for Traumatize its a great card, but again I would rather sideboard that one with extra counter-spells for vs blue.

as for the mana ramp, its a bit costly taking away from the other toys (space costs too) and I do not have a Liliana.

Mind Grind works great without mana ramp the trick is knowing when to use it to draw out counters, and when to max it out. simply put 4 mana for 2 lands is usually a heck of a lot of cards LATE in the game, emphasis on late.

I will usually not grind my target until after I have sunk a few lands out. 10 or more lands on table and in graveyard is a good place to start.

I like this deck for being different.+1 May I suggest lower drops for the early mill? Please check out Meet The Mill-ers to see what I mean.

I have a friend who has been attempting to make a smooth running mill deck and it seems to be quite the challenge so +1 just for the attempt. I hope it works out well for you! Sidenote: what's with the price? this is easily a $100 + dollar deck no?

November 29, 2013 10:05 p.m.

MrKnify says... #14

@noSoBeforu you could easily build this deck for about 30$

MrKnify i took this deck to fnm.I lost to rdw twice but beat esper control and grull midrange. It did good for a budget deck.I think you need a better sideboard for rdw and aggro. i removed read the bones and added another pilfered plans and a consuming aberation. i took out lazav and added breaking.

MrKnify says... #16

I put Read the Bones in for the scry, I still need to update it from my last real life edit, Duress and Thoughtseize would help against rdw unfortunately I only have Duress . the issues I had required more draw, but as long as you have them on the run then its not too bad.

The first time I played it in FNM I did not do very well at all its been rebuilt 2x since then and in "casual" has not been beaten, there are still many tweaks that can be done to beef it up.

Thank you for the test and feedback!!

MrKnify how would you make this more dimir devotion for born of the god because the u/b god is coming out?

November 30, 2013 1:34 p.m.

MrKnify says... #18

@Jrjersey01 there are many nice duel colour creatures like Deathcult Rogue but that takes away from the mill. Duskmantle Seer would be cool. Nightveil Specter would work also. Really it depends on what is also released then as well

November 30, 2013 3:12 p.m.

Rogue's Passage just one or maybe 2 to make that Consuming Aberration Hit for 40 direct. And if you are not using Wight of Precinct Six you should be using Crypt Incursion

December 3, 2013 7 a.m.

Also to answer your devotion about devotion... this is what i use... its not mill but here it is anyway. (It could be adapted to mill easily) Dimir Devotion Destroyer

December 3, 2013 7:24 a.m.

MrKnify says... #21

@Pyrokineticrage, Rogue's Passage I'll look into it. Wight of Precinct Six no, and no. albeit Crypt Incursion should be sideboarded.

Wwwskyler says... #22

I really think you should add more jade memory adepts he ends the game in 6 zero abilities if your only running one than it a lot harder to get out at least put in one more so that if your constantly drawing cards you still have more than one chance to use him

December 4, 2013 5:24 p.m.

MrKnify says... #23

@Wwwskyler That's a great idea. the only issue is I only have one, so when I get a second I'll be sure to add it!

December 4, 2013 6:47 p.m.

Jrjersey01 says... #25

MrKnify I think that we need to make a better sideboard. Maybe more removal or counters for the Aggro and midrange decks?
