A deck based on Memory Jar and Liliana's Caress . (Loosely-based on the infamous Broken Jar... I had originally built this around Memory Jar , Megrim , and Guiltfeeder before I learned about Erik Lauer's deck from 2011.)

The Play

Get out a Liliana's Caress as early as you can, then Tinker for a Memory Jar (sacrificing an artifact land) and cracking it open to feed into another Jar, Windfall , or a Wheel and Deal .

Frantic Search to dig for what you need for free, or use Brainstorm to put Jars back into your library to Tinker for.

Perfect Play:

• T1: Play a Seat of the Synod .
• T2: Play a Vault of Whispers , then cast a Liliana's Caress .
• T3: Play another land, drop a Lotus Petal , and cast Tinker . Sac one of your artifact lands to bring out Memory Jar . Draw a new hand. Drop another Lotus Petal , then sac both your Petals to cast another Liliana's Caress and end the game with 28 life loss to all opponents.

The Weaknesses

Aggro can ruin your day... but if you can get Liliana's Caress out in time, you shouldn't have any problem having opponents draw and discard to your heart's content, killing them before they get to you.
