Hello Fellow Planeswalkers! This post here is specifically for a trio of Formats I have decided to create for my Playgroup and I to play. Since we don't really like the idea of proxies and miss the days of playing Legacy, I decided to make a trio of Formats that bans some of the more expensive and broken things within Legacy. Each list also includes the Legacy Banlist from WOTC.

You can find WOTC's Bans for Legacy here. Once here, Ctrl-F and search for Legacy. Alternatively, the "decklist" above are almost all of the cards banned in Casual Legacy.

There's a total of 96 Sliver cards out there so I'm not going to list all of them. Everyone knows them and hates them. They are banned!

You can find the "Reserved List" here. These cards will never, ever be printed again. For that reason, my playgroup has deemed them all as banned.

Casual Legacy

This Format most closely resembles Legacy but has a more extensive Banlist. Even some Modern Staple make this Banlist.

Casual Legacy Classic

Casual Legacy Classic goes back to the times when the Modern Format's cards didn't even exist!

• Limited to one copy of Lotus Petal

Limited to up to one playset of Onslaught or Khans of Tarkir Fetches:

Casual Extended Legacy

Casual Extended Legacy is a Format that takes cards from every block that was ever in Extended and feels a lot like some classic Extended. To many, this feels like the best format to play since it feels like magic as it was in the days before WOTC's seeming downfall.

• Same Bans as Casual Legacy. In addition, cards after Avacyn Restored and Magic 2012 are also banned.
• Blightsteel Colossus
• Limited to one copy of Chrome Mox
• Limited to one copy of Lotus Petal
