"What do all men with power want? More power." ― The Oracle, Enter the Matrix

My decks are non-competitive kitchen table EDH decks, which are designed to primarily play against 2 to 5 enemies. My playgroup is a bunch of mid-30s who want to meet, chill, drink and have fun at a Saturday night, so in general we don't play decks which are just frustrating for the opponents or practically exclude them from the game for the next 2 hours. We got some rules like no massive landhate or poison and we got a small internal banlist. Personally, I only build mid-budget decks. So no fancy cEDH stuff to be seen here. Sorry, not sorry. ;)

In this section I try to collect interesting mechanics, weird interactions and cards that are often mistaken. If I got something wrong here, please feel free to correct me. It is supposed to work as a reminder for myself if needed and it might help other people who stumble across similar issues.

Druid of Purification:
All choices for Druid of Purification's ability are made during its resolution, and once you started resolving it, no player can respond with new spells or abilities until everyone has made their choice and the effects have happened. No player has priority during resolution, and carrying out the instructions of a resolving object does not itself use the stack. Therefore it's impossible to respond to a resolving object via an action that would require priority, such as casting a spell. Also note, players doen't target anything which means even permanents with hexproof and shroud can be destroyed.

Ulvenwald Hydra:
In general, if a creature card in your library has "*" where its power and toughness would be, it will have an ability that determines its power and/or toughness (C.R. 208.2). This ability usually has the words "power is equal", "toughness is equal", or "power and toughness are each equal" (C.R. 604.3). This ability works everywhere, not just on the battlefield (C.R. 604.3).
If you got 6 or more lands on the battlefield it is possible to search for it via Fierce Empath
