Maybe instead of Forbidden Alchemy maybe use Taigam's Scheming and you can use Living Death as a cool on-theme but also very effective board wipe. (Only briefly skimmed the list, so I may be stupid and you already have one or more of those in)

@chachicnd thanks!

@allthingsMTG the biggest thing about Forbidden Alchemy for me is the ability to use it twice and that it actually puts cards in my hand. Living Death is one of those cards that you seriously have to build around. I wonder how often it would end up being a dead draw for me? Nice combo with Grave Pact though, and I do have one somewhere I believe.

As far as Primal Vigor goes, I try and resist doubling cards as my Johnny goes crazy trying to go infinite.

The Mimeoplasm and Lazav, Dimir Mastermind could be a fun in a deck like this if they don't get countered.

While those cards are great fun in their own right, I'm trying to stick to a "zombie apocalypse" feel. It's been fun so far. Thanks for the comment though.

Kozilek, Butcher of Truth or Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre just for the protection from over milling yourself

I don't really want to use the Eldrazi. I never want to unexpectedly hit an Eldrazi and shuffle my graveyard in when I'm building to something. One of the board states I shoot for is Prophet of Kruphix, Havengul Lich and Rooftop Storm. Accidentally throwing a Titan in the yard gets rid of all my zombies. :(

I was looking at your deck and thought here's two cards you need:

Gempalm Polluter

Shepherd of Rot

That's weird. I do have Shepherd of Rot in my real life deck. I'm going to have to see what's different now.

Thanks for the upvote Bob_LobLaw, anything you like in particular? Any thoughts about improvements?

Hey, I'm also running a Sidisi Deck, and I'm trying to make it legit zombie tribal. I'm looking at all your cards and all the things I might add. I especially need a Crucible of Worlds. Although, I think you should take out the Wonder. You do not have enough islands to rely on it sometimes, and it's not truly zombie-themed.

Please feel free to comment on my decks, if you like.

Wonder also counts Breeding Pool and Underground Sea, so with all my fetchlands I almost always have an Island. That being said, I never want to draw it, so I see your point.

FYREKNIGHT thanks for the add, don't be afraid to +1 if you like it.

Do you have any thoughts or suggestions?

What are your guys' thoughts on Gisa and Geralf, Meren of Clan Nel Toth and Garruk Relentless  Flip vs Kiora, Master of the Depths?

MindAblaze says... #18

Kiora seems like she should be the obvious choice. But I wonder if taking Garruk out is the right idea or if I should take something else out.

7.8/10 not enough villainous wealth

September 8, 2016 5:45 p.m.

MindAblaze says... #20

Villainous Wealth is hilariously awesome, but I don't think it would be consistently strong enough to warrant a spot here. But I'll take a 78% lol. Any other thoughts? Improvements?

I don't always get Coffers+Urborg, so I don't often sit on more than 5-8 mana. Depending on how the draws go.

Anyone have any thoughts on Eldritch Evolution?

Traumatize yourself.

September 19, 2016 11:01 a.m.

MindAblaze says... #22

Traumatize is useful for hitting them when I have Undead Alchemist out, but I'd only succeed in getting one zombie and a whole bunch of cards in my graveyard if I had Sidisi out if your thought is for me to use it on myself.

Any other thoughts?

I'm testing Forgotten Creation and Geralf's Masterpiece right now over Parallel Lives and Ghoulcaller Gisa. I love Gisa but she usually just soaks up removal, and Parallel Lives just hasn't performed so far. I'm not opposed to it, but it hasn't wowed me either.

With any dredge/self mill deck you want things in the grave yard to bring back. If you did it 1 card at a time that would work for the general. I think Ghoulcaller Gisa would would best if she were soaking up fatties. But then you lose that fatty once you sac it. Also Stitcher Geralf is to reliant on what "others" have in their library. They could have a few sorceries or even lands. So you really don't get much out of i. So that leaves Geralf's Masterpiece. With self mill and discarding it would be a 4/4 or 5/5 every time. If you emptied your hand and had a Sensei's Divining Top that would be all you need for card draw. It would be a 6/6 on the regular. And currently the top has dropped in price.

Empty the Pits could be fun, surprise zombie hordes?

September 21, 2016 10:10 p.m. Edited.

MindAblaze says... #25

@DasTree I've decided Stitcher Geralf and Ghoulcaller Gisa are just not right for the deck. They could be powerful n a version of the deck, but not this one.

I find Empty the Pits to be too mana intensive, even with delve and a couple mana dorks out, similar to Villainous Wealth.

On an unrelated note, this deck stomped Kalemne, Disciple of Iroas, Hanna, Ship's Navigator and Rune-Tail, Kitsune Ascendant prison deck to a game of "who's the aggro" tonight. These guys teamed up, but I recovered Zombie Apocalypse from the graveyard twice, casting it both times for all kinds of zombie lords including Mikaeus, the Unhallowed to Dread Return a Triskelion for the win. Sidisi dumped lots of cards and provided an excellent distraction from the looming combo.
