Minion of Leshrac could give you some land destruction and its downside isn't a downside in here

luther So between Minion of Leshrac and Helldozer which do you think would be better? Minion can be a good sac outlet and can kill my opponents creatures/land but if I can't sac a guy for whatever reason then he does have a downside. Helldozer has no downside at all but can only kill lands.

Herald of Leshrac steals their lands, maybe him? He's a big removal target though.

Yeah but I can bring him back with my commander at least. Should I try and include Minion of Leshrac Helldozer and Herald of Leshrac or just one of em?

I think Helldozer has a high cost for his ability personally, but the minion and herald could both work wonders

You might want more sac outlets..

Ashnod's Altar ~ Need a sac outlet in case Chainer is removed

Altar of Dementia ~ See above

Hope these help, I have a Chainer build myself if you want to browse through it. It's on my profile page.

As far as sac outlets go, Viscera Seer and Dimir House Guard are pretty excellent also

I know it's budget buuuutttt, here's some cards you might want to keep an eye out for if you're trading or have the money to buy them:

Cabal Coffers Mana ramp

Extraplanar Lens with Snow-Covered Swamp ~ Insane amount of mana.

Phyrexian Tower Utility land

High Market Utility land

Sword of Body and Mind ~ Mill your opponent, then reanimate their fatties

Entomb ~ Combos with Army of the Damned ~ Just pay the flashback cost

If you slowly start getting these cards, you'll see a major improvement. I have 30x Snow-Covered Swamp and if you have a trade binder, maybe we could work something out.

I really want to try and get the whole Winter Orb and Sword of Feast and Famine combo going on. But yeah all of these are cards I have had my eye on, I'm really excited about Snow-Covered Swamp and Extraplanar Lens combo, I hadn't thought about that. Thanks you everyone for the comments

Nirkana Revenant and Magus of the Coffers is a possibility for more mana ramping.

In fact, Magus of the Coffers + Pili-Pala IN THE GRAVEYARD with Necrotic Ooze in play. Infinite mana with 3 or more swamps.

Also, there's always the old Sanguine Bond +Exquisite Blood combo.

Mikaeus, the Unhallowed + Triskelion as well. Infinite Undying for a creature that can just keep taking pot shots at players. Use all but one counter to deal damage to a player and the last one for Triskelion to kill itself. It comes back from undying, rinse and repeat!

Contamination can wreck an opponent. If they're not running black, by EDH rules, with this enchantment in play it will turn all of their mana colorless, severely limiting what they can play as long as you can keep Contamination out. Combine this with something like Bitterblossom or Reassembling Skeleton for a lockdown.

Jollyroger_gen How does the pili pala necrotic ooze and magus combo work exactly? I'm not familiar with how that untap mechanic works. Those are all really good ideas, I really like the triskelion and mikaeus combo also thank you for the suggestions. :)

Magus of the Coffers taps to add black mana equal to your number of swamps to your mana pool, which potentially alone can be a good chunk of mana. Pili-Pala UNtaps itself for two colorless mana while also adding one color of any kind to your mana pool.

If both of these are in your graveyard, Necrotic Ooze gains both abilities, allowing it to tap and untap itself for unlimited mana.

Tap for the Magus mana, Untap for the Pala Mana.

Oh ok, that makes a lot more sense. :) I'm gonna have to look into that now.

Mindslicer and Volrath's Stronghold are both really good. Have you considered Skullclamp for card draw or Deathrender to help cheat some of your creatures into play? Rogue's Passage might be good for your sword / Phage. Looks really cool though.

enpc I have a Deathrender and I was debating putting that in and I like the idea of Rogue's Passage also. I'll definitely look into getting the other ones also. Thanks for the suggestions!

Deathrender is the shit! I use it and Altar of Dementia (preferrably) to cheat out all my things and mill them a bunch, just to get my creatures back at the end of the turn in my marchesa deck.
