Wow, I love the new look! Your deck break-down is so detailed too! Clearly a labor of love <3

Asgeren this is a masterpiece in mono black. I had a K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth build a couple years ago that used some of these pieces.
Getting Bolas's Citadel into the mix could really help you streamline some of these spells into your combo wins.
Love how you took the time to have inclusions and representations about why this build was important for you, and any deck worth its Vorthos can tell that EnbyGolem hit that nail on the head; you love this build and it shows.
For me personally? Any deck that showcases the legendary B.B. King has to be a banger. And your deck lives well into infamy. 10/10, would upvote it again if I could. :)

Thank you for your most generous comment Andramalech! I really appreciate that, and yes, this deck is indeed special to me - I play it the most these days and I obsess about the flow of it. So maybe Bolas's Citadel (which is also old-school bordered indeed) will help with the flow - I'm just a bit worried about the life loss, but I'll definitely test it out ;)

Apparently I've already upvoted this deck? In any case, given 1/4th of your deck is creatures, unless you have some token generation (even then), wouldn't tainted aether work against you more times than not? How has it worked in your experience? I was thinking of adding it in my almost creatureless mono black sidisi deck but have been hesitant to do so. Could you provide me with feedback on how the card works and doesnt work for you and your meta?
Given you're a combo deck, have you considered adding Rings of Brighthearth? Rings + Deserted temple + Cabal Coffers + lots of (6 I believe, less are required with urborg) basic swamps = infinite black mana. Rings also synergizes with fetchlands. Another card to consider is Sensei's Divining Top as it smooths draws, synergizes with fetches/shuffling effects/tutors and is draw in a pinch. Moreover, with rings + top, you can use as a draw engine if you have extra mana (copying senisei's tap draw ability to draw itself and another card). If you were to have the infinite mana described previously, then adding top would allow you to draw your entire deck as well.
Although after reading your description, it appears that they are likely not within your parameters.

This is quite the deck, love the whole breakdown of it all. Not to mention a sweet old school mono black vibe!

Profet93 thanks for the long comment! Indeed I can't use those cards due to my old school theme, but they are solid suggestions. I have some token generation and also this deck loves to sacrifice - so there's no problem :)

This deck is so cool! Chainer looks like a really sweet card to focus around and I really love that you built it with old-borders!
Havoc Demon might be an interesting card to try out. If you have a reliable sac outlet online, it could really punish your opponents when they try remove Chainer. It might give you some leverage to keep your board around for a little while longer or at least take a good chunk of everyone's field with you :)
