4x Temple Garden is a must. I'd make that a trading priority.

Ulvenwald Tracker can be good in the right scenario, but he is pretty slow for an aggro deck. I'd just run Knight of Glory over it.

I like the singleton Restoration Angel a lot. No one would really expect it and you can re-pair Silverblade Paladin to whatever you want, even to Restoration Angel as a double-striking blocker.

Yeah, Temple Garden s are top priority. None of my magic friends have any to spare, so I might just do some trading at my local shop or flat buy them out soon.

Hmm, I certainly am already considering Knight of Glory for the main. The one thing I like about Ulvenwald Tracker is that he fills a hole that I often leave in my decks. I like to build really fast and lean, which usually means I cut anything that isn't on right on message with the rest of the deck, no Oblivion Ring s in the main and such. So Ulvenwald Tracker gives the deck just the little bit of interaction with my opponents board. Think that's worth not running another pair of more aggressive creatures?

I do. You shouldn't be worrying about your opponent's board because, if you build this deck right, you'll always have a stronger position for the first four turns. And beyond that point, Oblivion Ring is just better than Ulvenwald Tracker in nearly every way.

Alright, I guess my thought was it still hit for 2 off a Mayor of Avabruck  Flip or Knight of Glory , if I made that switch, so it sort of straddled the middle ground of being another creature for damage(with Rancor anything can be a threat) but then also having some removal potential. But perhaps that's pushing too much for the best of both worlds.

I'll play around with it, I've also got a single Ajani, Caller of the Pride that might be worth an appearance.

Skullcrack makes the bant control decks much easier to deal with

grizzell Can't say that they wouldn't be helpful in certain match-ups, the question would be what to pull out. I rather like all the directions that I sibeboard currently goes.

What's your opinion on Odric, Master Tactician ?

boomtownblues Might make the sideboard for specific match-ups, but I think overall standard has spoiled us on creatures that for 4 CMC or greater have immediate board impact. It's not that a 3 power first striker is all that bad, and the ability is great if you can get it going, it's just hard to stack up against Huntmaster of the Fells  Flip , Hellrider , Restoration Angel , Sublime Archangel , etc.

Vos_Is_Boss Nice deck, but there's too much removal heavy midrange and control in my local meta to play something that glass cannon. Looking through your matches it's pretty easy to see that the deck most struggles against any early game removal, though it absolutely punishes decks that don't interact across the board.
