Chandra, Pyromaster would be nice in here

Liking what i see rakdosrunner. Now i'm no master deck builder and i very much doubt i'll ever be however looking at the deck i see the theme attack pain, attack pain, attack pain, it is kinda the Rakdos mantra. My point is are you or do you often block? it seems to me that most of your creatures have haste, unleash and there is the battalion element which all point to the attacking nature of the deck. If thats the case have you considered Carnage Gladiator , even if your blocked it's going to cost them! Now he sits in the same slot as Exava, Rakdos Blood Witch and i personally think he brings a bit more to the party than the witch as her party trick of haste to all creatures with +1/+1 counters seems a bit redundant as most of your unleashed creatures are low CMC so they will more than likely be out before she enters the battle field.

I went ahead and completely revamped this deck. I went for a straight aggro/burn and took out all the junk besides that. So far this deck has gone 7-2 total and placed top 5 at both tournaments I've gone so it's been working great for me.

Drop an Act of Treason an Electrickery and both Wild Ricochet for 4 Legion Loyalist .

Trust me every time I try to run an aggro deck freakin junk decks and selesnya lifegain end up kickin my ass, Heroes' Reunion is really powerful.

Also drop a Thrill-Kill Assassin for one more Spike Jester , drop all the Deviant Glee for 4 Lightning Mauler , and all the Wight of Precinct Six for 3 Fervent Cathar .

If you REALLY wanna stick with post rotation go with 4 Ash Zealot and mainboard 3 Act of Treason .

One more thing drop the Rakdos Charm for Slaughter Games .

Something I like to do to help whittle them down is enchant one of their creatures with Stab Wound so that even while you are mauling them, their own creatures are hurting them.

Less Rakdos Guildgate more Blood Crypt other then that it looks like a pretty standard and Effective burn aggro. If you really wanted to vamp it up tho, to roll with the high dollar players, i would consider adding a few Bonfire of the Damned a few Vexing Devil one or two Thundermaw Hellkite and a Chandra Nalaar or Chandra, Pyromaster never hurt anyone. just takes some deep pockets ;) GL

Mmmmm rakdosrunner everything you have in the deck is standard future proof and i'm guessing your wanting to keep it that way? however previous comments are useful so if you have the cards already then it cant hurt!!!

I guess a bit of background can help with future suggestions. First off whats your local meta like? and any particular people/decks you have real issues with? This may help focus suggestions and allow direct help for FNM.

Ok so to the deck, it look likes it runs fairly well however, i still feel Exava, Rakdos Blood Witch is out of place for the usual reasons and you know my suggestion. The Sire Of Insanity i cant get my head round, 6 CMC makes him rather expensive and as Rakdos goes, he is a fatty but his ability doesnt seem to help as by the time you cast him you should have beaten your opponent silly! With Madcap Skills i'd be tempted to go down a death touch route, Rakdos Ringleader he's 6 CMC but his benefits are, death touch, first strike, regenerate and discard....add in madcap skills and holly moley you have a game ender!!

Thats it for now but i'll put my thinking cap on and if i can come up with anything more i'll be back.

So I tested this deck in two tournaments and placed 2nd in a 15 person tournament, then 6th in a 24 person tournament.

I like it but I'm gonna revamp the thing again...

but thats just cause I like constancy, and your not going to be blocking much so the Desecration Demon isnt that good.

How about Civic Saber ? It's basically +2/+0 in your deck for 2 mana and you don't get 2 for 1'ed as easily. It might go in instead of Electrickery.

Nice deck, looks good. I wish my local shop did FNM, instead he does MNM which is dumb. I mean he still holds FNM but you have to do a booster draft instead of using your own deck. Only during Monday Night Magic can you use your own deck, but you still have to buy 5 boosters in order to be entered into the tournament.

pingpongball120, Madcap Skills is most certainly an aggro card. Combined with deathtouch it is devastating and if they let it slide it's an extra 3 damage to them.

DrugaRules, You'd be surprised how effective he can be in an aggro/burn deck. Throwing him out T4 is six damage flying T5 which should be enough to finish the game if not then he is a easy creature destruction each turn he is out.

I would love to take out 2x Liliana's Reaver and put in 2x Hellhole Flailer but I dont have the cards ha. Also I'd replace 3 Legion Loyalist with 3 Vexing Devil but I'm not buying the cards for 1 month. I'll see how theros looks but I'll be looking for a couple replacements. Same with Ash Zealot i just dont have the cards.

I'll try to put some Desecration Demon on my deck to see the effect. But as the focus of our decks are different, maybe the card does not have a great weight on my!

My deck has no attack modifiers so I do not see much need to have the Legion Loyalist in my. But in his deck he really seems to gain incredible strength!

I had never played with a Rakdos deck. After I saw your deck, I was intensely interested and now I hope the expansion Theros. Will bring good acquisitions to this clan?? =D

Hahaha NeroSix, rakdosrunner used to have her in the deck but has made many many changes to the deck so i'm guessing he's just not updated it yet. BTW Rakdos like the new design of the deck, had any recent run outs with it? If so how didi it go.

Hey Tintin, yea my last FNM got second and lost to stupid Snapcaster Mage deck lol I just couldn't do anything it was a good deck.

I like the idea, but if you're working towards a slightly slower rakdos deck, (hitting 5-6 drops) I would recommend removing the low CMC creatures you have in place of more removal and card advantage to fight control. I tested a Rakdos Control deck 2 FNM's ago and it worked rather well, beat a golgari control deck, so can't complain there...

(haven't modified for post-rotation yet, but it shouldn't be hard. Replace the faithless lootings and sign in bloods with 4x Read the Bones and 2x Magma Jet, 2x Pillar of Flames with Shocks, and you're pretty much good to go again.)

You realize you have 6 copies of Act of Treason in your 75 cards, right? I would replace your sideboard copies with Slaughter Games or Rakdos's Return

Yea, I forgot to take them off sideboard. I know its crazy to main board them as well but when I did I placed 1st finally at FNM so I moved them in ha.

Also Twyn I plan to use Act of Treason with Tymaret, the Murder King so steal attack then sack lol

I think this is alright. But you should'nt run Underworld Cerberus

Your main premise is to dominate the board. Anything they play either gets burnt out, taken by you and sac'd or desecrated.

When you play Cerberus as your finisher, opponent drops Dark Betrayal or Dreadbore because you can't give it haste, and they get all their creatures back, turn the game around and win.

A better option would be Master of Cruelties it works really well with your cheap burn and and Tymaret, the Murder King especially. Attack with MoC, drop their life and sac it for the last 1 damage.

The only actual benefit I see from Underworld Cerberus is that it shuts down Deathrite Shaman and Scavenging Ooze . Completely!

I like the deck concept and choice of creatures. I agree with TEGHabidird regarding Underworld Cerberus , Master of Cruelties looks very solid and will keep that board control your looking for as well as acting as a strong finisher.Underworld Cerberus would be a great sideboard card I think.

Only other thing I can think of that might fit in would be Purphoros, God of the Forge but I'm not sure entirely on that even myself either.
