tman007 thanks! I love when people play test my deck, it lets me know where I can improve and what I can work on. Ha And honestly I put Legion Loyalist specifically for that reason, just because it seems almost everyone has a token of some sort lol

8vomit I thought about it. I might sideboard two, it's either that or Mizzium Mortars .

I would rather see 4x Hero's Downfall and 4x Lightning Strike , then 3x Doom Blade , 4x Dreadbore , and 2x Lightning Strike . More flexibility, more instant speed removal, and more direct damage, and then you can add +1 Chandra, Pyromaster to capitalize on it. Just a thought.
Also why no Thoughtseize ? That should be here.

No burning tree: its a 2CMC bear without haste that causes you to overextend into a wrath. Not for this deck.

I don't spend money on cards haha. Every card in this deck are ones I've won from tournaments or traded cards I've won for. I originally spent 100 dollars on a deck and then won a couple FNM and then placed well in a couple game days. Since then i've taken this deck to IPC for theros, and State and a lot of smaller tournaments. The deck is literally all my winnings lol Besides about 200 dollars in cards I sold but I refuse to buy new cards until I change my deck completely, I don't want to make my Magic playing an addiction so to speak.
Also, Im so mad at myself because I had 4x Hero's Downfall one foil and i traded them for about 5 each and 10 for foil!
Also, I traded my only Thoughtsieze for a Purphoros, God of the Forge back when I thought a god would do me good.

I just saw that Hero's Downfall had jumped from $5 to $17. Ouch!

Yours is kind of similar to mine with some major differences of course. +1 for a awesome deck rakdos ftw.

It seems like any hard control deck that's built decently wouldn't be easy to beat for this deck. Supreme Verdict and Anger of the Gods would wreck your early game, and things like Assemble the Legion wreck your late game.

Also against a control deck Burning Earth is your friend.

What about Hero's Downfall for killing planeswalkers quickly? Also maybe experiment with Erebos, God of the Dead because I think you might be able to get devotion and I think her abilities are actually pretty strong

Could you take a look at my I Like my Weenies Big white weenie deck for me? Also, I think Exava, Rakdos Blood Witch isn't that amazing in this deck. I would say 2x Erebos, God of the Dead instead for the card draw and body. I would probably take away Legion Loyalist , Rakdos's Return , Magma Jet and Spike Jester for a 2nd and 3rd Whip of Erebos , a 3rd Stormbreath Dragon , a 3rd Chandra, Pyromaster , 4 Hero's Downfall , 2 Pack Rat and 1 Rakdos Guildgate

InconspicuousPotato, I agree with that those cards completely because of have seen similar decks to that do very well, however I come to find that I am a hipster of Magic.
If I've seen a deck like my own, I try to remake mine to be different haha I don't win big tournaments with this but I always contend and usually top 8. Not always but I do Fairly well.
However I do wish I could find something else besides Exava, Rakdos Blood Witch because a four drop 3/3 first strike, haste isn't that great especially when I have the Spike Jester two turns ahead of her.
If you think of any other 4 drops let me know. I'll play test your deck in a minute!

I playtested your deck against Up All Night to Get Steamy and your deck lost both times. You have a distinct weakness to AEtherling
and Assemble the Legion
and are also soft to decks that follow Supreme Verdict
with Sphinx's Revelation
.
I believe the solution is to have a minimum of 3 Thoughtseize
. The low mana cost allows you to keep pressure with your early creatures while disrupting your opponent's mid-game plans. It can remove control's limited number of win conditions or a crucial Supreme Verdict
or Sphinx's Revelation
. It's also still good against aggro or midrange by disrupting their curve and letting you play around their hand with maximum information.
On the positive side, Chandra, Pyromaster
is awesome in this build. The blocking clause is especially useful against creature decks and her 0 ability keeps cards flowing against control.
And in conjunction with the previous comments, other four drops to consider would be Ember Swallower , Liliana's Reaver , or the big daddy himself, Rakdos, Lord of Riots . I think the first two would be better than Exava while Rakdos is probably a fringe pick for style purposes only.

Jimhawk I agree on the Thoughtseize I wish I had the money for them, I would put them in in a heartbeat. ha And yes I have a weakness to assemble and aetherling, if I don't win the game by the time those get out I usually am pretty slow to recover if at all.

InconspicuousPotato I play tested the decks and you beat me out 2-1. It was close all three times but your Gods Willing kept saving your creatures and wasting mine lol Great weenie deck, I wouldn't change much besides maybe take out the Mutavault they don't hurt, but with Boros Reckoner and the instants your gonna want all the colored mana you can get. Just a thought.

i saw that you couldn't afford Thoughtseize , but keep in mind that Duress gets rid of a lot of stuff that would hurt you. i notice that you really only have three-3 drops (i assume that you use Nighthowler for bestow), you might want Lifebane Zombie for an intimidating 3 drop that gets rid of Supreme Verdict , Sphinx's Revelation and Obzedat, Ghost Council . that would also be good as hand disruption.

Burning-Tree Emissary might be good in here. theres plenty of thing you could play off of the 2 mana in here, and its an additional 2/2 on the field
