I've acquired some cards so I'm kinda rotating it towards more pure burn, which is the idea for the deck.

What about Wall of Fire to defend yourself. Also Wildfire Cerberus is budget enough to think about. Maybe Dictate of the Twin Gods is worth trying too. Finally Riddle of Lightning could get use off those higher cost spells. With that you could take another Spawn of Thraxes in.

Wall of Fire is definitely in consideration, hadn't thought about Riddle of Lightning. Those two for sure could have a place in the deck, especially post-rotation when I need to replace like five things.

Dictate and the Cerberus I'm more on the fence of, if I get any I could try them out for sure. Thanks for the input, I'm still acquiring some cards for this deck, so any ideas are welcome.

Slowly acquiring better cards to pull out some less effective ones.

I have considered it, but I prefer doubling my burn. The two Phoenix cards are there for their evasion. I'm still trying to figure out my sideboard, he may make it there for counter/spell heavy decks.

Idk, maybe I could run 3 of each and fit Pyromancer in that way. I'm gonna try it Gleipnir95.

Since I won't actually be able to tourney this deck in time under its current build (joining Army), I am considering dropping it to Modern and building a deck from KoT when it releases. I really like it and wanted to test it's mettle in my local meta, but it seems unlikely unfortunately.

Eidolon of the Great Revel is worth main boarding. The damage to you is not that much of a concern with a burn deck and it hurts almost any deck. It works great fore me in Who needs three drops anyways? (post rotation)

Tried it out in place of Flame-Wreathed, it definitely helped more early game. I will continue testing. Thanks for input, help Is always appreciated.

<< This is the post-rotation build of the deck, barring KoT cards. It's subject to change when that set hits. Comments and suggestions are always welcome.

Young Pyromancer . Also you may splash white for Boros Charm and Chained to the Rocks

Young Pyromancer was in the deck before this and actually I didn't understand the fuss, for whatever reason he never helped me as much. I'm not splashing white either, this was its last go as standard. Only my third tournament. Since it's getting close I will be rotating this to modern. Thanks for the suggestions though :)

Yeah, it was a burn deck but they haven't replaced Shock, Chandra's Phoenix, Wild Guess, Wild Ricochet, Young Pyromancer, Ash Zealot...
