Combo Goblin Rabblemaster with Howl of the Horde and Stoke the Flames for 12 damage direct to Opponents face. Satyr Firedancer works well aswell. TBH mono red is very weak atm unless you are playing lots of fatties in which case going red-green to ramp to fatties and giant spells would be the way to go. Or red-blue to pick up counterspells and draw cards etc.
the combo pretty much goes. t5 goblin rabblemaster + satyr firedancer is on the field. Cast Howl, attack phase token spawns and attacks, tap satyr and goblin for convoke and cast Stoke the flames. and copy it twice and target player with all 3. then you have 3 instances of 4 damage to deal to their creatures from firedancers passive

Yeah, I know mono red is weak right now. I was really on the fence of just going modern, but I had it as a burn deck for only a couple of months before it's about to rotate. Only thing pushing me to keep it standard is that I've invested the money into the Chandra's and other stuff for standard play and I rarely get to do modern tourneys.

Isn't the Eidolon of the Great Revel going to kill you first, since all your spells are cheap?

Eidolon of the Great Revel is a free damage card. He deals two damage to my opponent everytime they cast 1-3 cost spells. Though he hurts me, I'm still one point ahead (theoretically), since all my burns hit for 3. You have to be careful to play him correctly, but free damage makes him worth it. Thoughtsieze cost 4 life, take 2 for that counter you used on my burn, etc.

could splash white for Lightning Helix and Boros Charm. Cool deck though +1

I have beaten Boros burn head to head. I find mono to be much more efficient and I also from experience found the extra damage from the charm and life from the helix not worth the tradeoff. You'd have to spend a lot of money on the best dual lands to make it run as effeciently. I try to play on a budget. I have found that my decks are competitive, even when I lose.

Hey man! My thoughts on this build of yours:
Go to 3x Reverberate, as that is a dead card without another. Most of the times you will draw more of those than you need.
Quest for Pure Flame is something I use and has 2 advantages: the first and obvious one is doubling the damage. The other is psychological, putting pressure on your opponent. The sweet spot is usually 3x copies.
I see Shard Volley in your maybeboard: it's good, but I wouldn't play more than 2x or 3x of them. Losing a land in RDWs can hurt your tempo a lot.
Not budget, and somewhat off, but seeing all your CMC spells makes me think of Isochron Scepter. Just a thought.
And... what's your opinion on sweepers like Earthquake (staying in modern) or spells with lower costs, like Lightning Blast? I ask this because of your actual mana curve.
This is my take on RDW:

The suggestions where based on the performance of that deck... different terms and conditions may apply to your metagame and playstyle.
Cheers mate!

Hey thanks! I haven't thought much of sweepers and scepter would be awesome if not for it's price tag. Thanks for the perspective and deck reference!

If you're going creatureless, why not Searing Blaze?

Mostly, tempo. It isn't uncommon to miss land drops and/or play my hand out early. Landfall isn't reliable enough IMO. Besides, my side board takes care of creatures.

Stoke the Flames it kills most troublesome creatures out there or just finishes off your opponent. DIE!!! Courser of Kruphix
