Thank you! Coordinated Assault did cross my mind but decided not to because
1: Temur Battle Rage is better
B: I prefer Wild Slash in my 1 drop slot because it is a bit more consistent in doing 2 damage
Third: It will be going out of standard fairly soon.
Thanks again though!

Goblin glory chaser and Acolyte of the inferno are both good red creatures you may like to consider. Magmatic insight, reclaim, and Titan's strength are not bad choices either.

The new Chandra, Fire of Kaladesh seems best put in a burn deck, but i can see it working here.

@scorpix: Thank you for the comment! I'll probably put in the Rugged Highlands in. With the amount of creatures I have in now Collected Company will likely wiff a lot and if I take out what you recommend I will only have 11 creatures in the deck that coco can grab. Temur Battle Rage is staying in the deck because by itself it can activate Chandra, Fire of Kaladesh Flip or Outland Colossus. With Fiery Impulse I like the card but it can only act as removal and can never go for the dome so say my opponent has a Dragonlord Ojutai on the field and nothing else and they are at 2 life and I top deck Fiery Impulse I can't do anything with it. I do like Crater's Claws and will probably get thrown in here eventually! And finally Roast will be going into the sideboard when I get around to it!

Cool Deck :)Have you thought of using Chandra's Ignition ?Together with the Colossus one has some insane Damage

@BigBy93: I have thought about using Chandra's Ignition before but at 5 CMC it's a little bit mana intensive for my deck. But I might throw it in as a 1 of though

Have you thought of running Rogue's Passage? Its a bit slow, but four mana to make your Colossus unblockable is a pretty good.

I never thought about that but is a great idea! I'll throw a couple in

Barrage of Boulders - 1 red 2 colorless deals 1 damage to each creature you don't control and if you control a creature with power 4 or greater, creatures can't block this turn. This would actually be a really great option in your deck because it can potentially help you with some board removal while also letting your Colossus through.
July 22, 2015 12:50 a.m.
I like the combo of Outland Colossus + Temur Battle Rage but what happens after he becomes renowned? Yes, he becomes a 12/12 but with Temur Battle Rage he gets it for one turn. After that I could chum block with a 1/1 token and not sweat any damage from him, almost wasting him really. I would advise using Temur Runemark yes it's one more mana but it will essentially create a 14/14 Outland Colossus with trample.

Havok.Bane says... #13
Only problem with Temur Runemark is I'd need a red permanent on the field and I only have a total of 6 red permanent cards in the deck! Also with Temur Battle Rage it works with Chandra, Fire of Kaladesh Flip quite nicely where the runemark doesn't. One last thing is they might not see battle rage coming and chump with a 1/1 and then I deal 17 damage (and probably kill them)
Thank you for the comment though!

This may just be me, but in my opinion, Monastery Swiftspear is a bit better than Zurgo. Yes, Zurgo has dash, but Swiftspear has haste outright and only gets stronger with your instants and sorceries with prowess. It has excellent synergy with the Hydra and Chandra, since your noncreature spells will only serve to make them stronger and/or flip.
Yes, Zurgo goes back to your hand, so the opponent would have less of an opportunity to remove him, but using a removal spell on Swiftspear only serves to make Managorger stronger.

Only reason I have Zurgo Bellstriker over Taylor Swiftspear is dashing him out counts as casting a spell and that helps to flip Chandra and put counters on the hydra every turn. That said, you are probably right about Monastery Swiftspear.

If you are just using Zurgo for it's dash ability then I suggest using Mardu Scout instead as it's a 3/1 for the same dash cost, plus it's not a legendary creature.

Havok.Bane says... #17
@Vextierium: With zurgo I can play it on turn 1 if I want to, also if it gets chumped by a token it won't die unlike Mardu Scout.

Unfortunately, Temur Battle Rage should not flip Chandra. Her ability is not a combat ability, and double strike only applies to combat. The other interaction is really nice, though.
I would definitely be running Monastery Swiftspear over Zurgo. My logic is that you can have two on the field at once that get pumped when you play a spell, and that is often much better than playing Zurgo for his dash cost of 1R.

@buildingadeck her ability states "if Chandra has dealt 3 or more damage this turn" so it really doesn't matter how the damage is dealt as long as Chandra is the one that dealt it, it is for this reason that Chandra is the easiest of all the Origin Plainswalkers to flip and can also arguably the best Chandra Planeswalker. My personal opinion is that Chandra is best in a aggro burn deck where getting her to flip is as easy as getting up in the morning.
July 23, 2015 2:17 a.m.
Havok.Bane says... #20
@buildingadeck: Chandra, Fire of Kaladesh Flip's ability just says that you need to have done 3 damage when her tap ability resolves to flip her so if you attack with her cast Temur Battle Rage on her she then untaps then does 2 damage with first strike then you can tap her for the 3rd point which flips her as well as takes her out of combat so that whatever blocked her or whatever she blocked doesn't kill her.
Also with the swiftspear you are right and I'll be changing it.

I got the impression that this was a red/green aggro deck, in which case having your creatures chumped block shouldn't really be your concern, your concern should be how fast can you deal damage which unfortunately also sometimes means being chumped blocked by a 1/1 green squirrel.

Ah, I thought you were trying to Temur Battle Rage on the ability. That makes much more sense.

I just like to take some time to point out that Havok's mana curve is almost perfectly balanced (like literally) I have never seen such even mana bars, Nothing wrong with that just pointing it out.

I love that Temur Battle Rage Chandra combo, here's another fun one for less: Coordinated Assault!
+1, Chandra, Fire of Kaladesh Flip is easily one of my favorite origins cards as well
