The fourth part in the Changing How Magic Plays series is here! The mechanic being changed this time is assigning combat damage.

Whittle away at your enemy's creatures toughness with cards like Greater Werewolf. Spruce up your battlefield with enchantments such as Builder's Blessing and Castle. Leaf your opponent in the saw dust with ramp spells and low mana buff spells like Kodama's Reach and Tower Defense. By making your enemy's creatures power irrelevant you make them all bark and no bite. Branch out your strategy and make your opponents risk life and limb by growing your defenses and making your opponents bow to defensive genius. Tree puns, they're a birch

This deck is an proof of concept, it is a gimmick and by no means competitive. The whole idea of the deck is to cast Doran, the Siege Tower from your command zone and then just play. This is part four in an unknown amount of decks that will entirely change how the game is played. All parts of this series will be built around a card that drastically changes the rules of the game, and will have a deck that exploits those rule changes to their fullest.
