Have you thought about Birds of Paradise? It's a very good card, since you won't be attacking with your mana generating creatures anyway and it doesn't deal damage to you like Elves of Deep Shadow does :)

Hi, netnimation! Thanks for taking a look and offering a suggestion. To be honest, Birds of Paradise were in the first build. I actually took them out and went with the Elves of Deep Shadow for thematic reasons. I wanted some synergy in the deck. The Deadbridge Chant is some powerful Druid magic. I already had the mystics so wanted another elf druid for the deck. We will see if it is too painful life-wise or if I need better fixing in the deck. Then I will go back to birds or try Urborg Elf/Quirion Elves or similar.

Phage the Untouchable

Thanks for the suggestion, HydraOoze. I thought about putting Phage in here. But she is not really on theme with the whole Gorgons and druids theme. But it is a great card. I will add it to the maybeboard and find my copies and playtest with them. Thanks again!

Wait a minute, Phage does not work at all in this deck. If I cast Deadbridge Chant and put a Phage in the yard as part of the 10 cards, then on my next upkeep reveal a card in my graveyard at random and if it is Phage I will lose the game.

This is an absolute monster deck. I love it and I've been constantly trying to build Golgari Graveyard, and this is the best I've seen. If it's okay with you, I would love to use this deck at almost every modern event I attend

Of course it's okay with me, TheOfficialRAE, though I would suggest fine-tuning the sideboard for your local meta.

MagicMarc I think the sideboard will work perfectly. I may incorporate some Scavenge instead of some of the graveyard return, and narrow it down in general, but other than that, it's absolutely perfect. I'm so glad that you made this, I really am
