Didn't stick around for tiebreakers because we worked in the morning but me and my roommate went 3-1!
Match 1: Green Devotion (2-0) Oh man Green devotion how I've learned to deal with you... I pretty much burned him out and chumped his 9/9 Reverent Hunter and Polukranos, World Eater with Young Pyromancer , and went to his head for the win with burn and phoenixes.
Match 2: B/W/R Control (2-0) He really didn't do much in both matches, he dropped a Stormbreath Dragon once but i burned him out pretty easily. It seemed that he came with a lot of creature removal in his deck, but I don't have many creatures.
Match 3: Monoblack Devotion (2-0) This was a BLOWOUT, he Thoughtsiezed me turn one to reveal a hand of Boros Charm ,burn and Elspeth, Sun's Champion, I guess he figured elspeth was my win con and dumped it, i started burning him on the curve with a Young Pyromancer out saccing tokens to Desecration Demon game 2 was similar except a resolved Blood Baron of Vizkopa won me the game.
Match 4: R/W devotion (0-2) I was on a winning high at this point and this just shut it down completely. I dropped a young pyro and a chandra's phoenix on the curve and started working down his health, he just had a turn 2 burning tree into nothing then a turn 3 Hammer of Purphoros, Turn 4 he dropped nykthos, another burning tree, activated nykthos for 6, played frostburn wierd, then Fanatic of Mogis for 9 damage, then swung back for another 9 damage and won. 18 damage on turn 4... made me pull a shockland out of my mainboard... game 2 went like 1 but he did 16 damage on turn 5.
