Maybeboard

I'm looking for advice on lands to include. I run with Cloudpost and Glimmerpost in casual, but I subbed those out for Inventors' Fair and Tomb of the Spirit Dragon for now.

The Urza trinity sounds good, but with Everflowing Chalice I don't think the extra mana would be completely useful.

Thoughts on including Energy Chamber appreciated as well.

I feel like Energy Chamber is a bit slow with Coretapper in the mix.

The playstyle of this deck centers around getting charge counters flowing as quickly as possible and using them to create 9/9 golems or to shoot down the opponent's permanents.

  • Coretapper You want this guy out as often as possible. There are ways to bring him back to play such as Myr Reservoir or Buried Ruin in case you need to sacrifice one for quick counters. Also helps when you opponent targets them directly.

  • Ichorclaw Myr Basically used for attacking early. Either they block and take 3 -1/-1 counters or don't block and take a poison counter. Becomes stronger with Myr Galvanizer

  • Myr Galvanizer Use these to keep your coretapper safer from direct damage and to untap them for extra charges.

  • Palladium Myr Simply used for mana acceleration. Can be used to set up infinite combos with 2x Myr Galvanizer

  • Perilous Myr Use these as blockers if you can take them out with the extra 2 damage. They become nice when buffed from Myr Galvanizer and you can bring them back endlessly with your Myr Reservoir.

  • Plague Myr Infect for the -1/-1 or use it for early mana help.

  • Wall of Tanglecord A strong blocker for 2 CMC with the ability to gain reach. Add a Spidersilk Net for permanent reach and even stronger defense.

  • Everflowing Chalice Never worry about mana. You could even play this for 0 and use your Coretapper to boost it up.

  • Golem's Heart Get this out early and keep yourself alive little by little. Not the strongest, but nothing to scoff at

  • Lux Cannon This is your big weapon. Charge this as often as possible. Sacrifice your Coretapper if needed to get a pinch destruction off on something that is terrorizing you. You can always bring them back later. Early game use of this could easily put a damper on your opponent if you take out their lands before they can even play something.

  • Myr Reservoir Use this to help play Myrs or to bring them back from the graveyard.

  • Titan Forge This is where you make your warriors. You could essentially sacrifice one Coretapper for a 9/9 Golem.

  • Voltaic Key Basically free untaps for your Lux Cannon, Titan Forge, Myr Reservoir, or Coretapper. You could even use it on a buffed up Everflowing Chalice if you need the extra mana.

  • Neurok Hoversail Cheap flying equipment. Use these on your golem tokens if your opponent doesn't have a counter.

  • Spidersilk Net Cheap reach and +2 toughness. Give it to your Ichorclaw Myr and make your opponents even less likely to block it.
