If you can get the golgari scry lands, get them.
Also, your deck contains a fairly low cmc, so you don't need to run Gyre Sage or 4x Sylvan Caryatid . Drop the caryatid to 3, up the Elvish Mystic to 4 and remove Gyre Sage entirely. I would also consider removing Reverent Hunter as there are much better alternatives coming up, the same can be said with Fog , as there are soo many ways to get around it, and quite useless when you don't have enough creatures to swing all out next turn anyways, thanks to removal.
If you can, find yourself some Erebos, God of the Dead for the draw engine. Your Scavenging Ooze should help counter-act the life loss. Read the Bones is also really nice to use.
Try finding yourself some Thoughtseize s, they may be pricey, but a turn one Thoughtseize will really save you the game. I would also consider Whip of Erebos instead of Varolz, the Scar-Striped because it has lifelink and any creature in your graveyard can come back to swing again. I say this as it has better synergy against a removal based deck as if you scavenge to create a really powerful creature, it won't take much to remove that creature unless it has hexproof. Also if your creatures get removed, they still have a fighting chance with Whip of Erebos . You may also want to consider Bow of Nylea , but I have never played with it so it will require some play-testing.

Finally, Doom Blade should be better than Ultimate Price , though I would still use Ultimate Price in the side-board. Then for more removal, Abrupt Decay is really useful as it can target anything early game.

I think that Desecration Demons are far more powerful for a 4 drop, instant board presenc, opponents need to find answers quickly for DD.

You'd have better luck if this was a standard deck. Your only non-standard cards are: Avatar of Woe , Bramblewood Paragon , Increasing Savagery and Maelstrom Pulse . Beyond that, I don't know what you're aiming for without a proper description. To me, it looks like a goods-stuffs deck. A good description goes a long way in getting decent suggestions and up-votes.
