I've been playing this with friends and they have started adapting and living. So I have started playing Zombie Infestation in the mainboard and added a copy of Empty the Pits. After I go off if there are any survivors I will make discard for the zombies then before my next turn I will use Cabal Ritual with Empty the Pits to make enough zombies to be lethal.

@Treewalker firstly, I am absolutely flattered that you've actually been using my list. that awesome man! :D

second, thank you so much for your input. If it works in an actual game, it will work really well, and considering that Empty the Pits pretty much has PERFECT synergy with this entire deck, I thank and solute you, sir!

Mana Crypt is $150, so you can't really call this a budget deck if you're running it. If you use Mana Vault you can though.

Okay, so I like playing the Zombie Hunt deck in modern, which is just 4 treasure hunts, 1-2 Zombie infestations, 4 reliquary towers, 4 Contested war zone, and the rest are basics. This Commander list appeals to me so much! It's so creative! And it's dirt cheap... I love it!

speaking of zombie hunt though, why the warzones? sure, they boost your guys, but if you got to the point of having that many zombies, its just insult to injury. So they seem to just be stealable lands. why run them in Z.H?

@DERPLINGSUPREME Well yeah they might not be useful all of the time, but sometimes you don't get as lucky and don't get to pseudo-draw into as many cards as you wanted, so it could just get those last few points of damage in. I've played a couple of games in which I really needed it, but I guess it's not necessary to play the deck.

Expedition Map might be a good include.

I can tap lands for mana, and because I will have enough mana to cast it on turn 6 (or earlier) thanks to fetching with sidisi.

The circumstance that I am thinking of is everyone at the table knows what what you are trying to accomplish. The bottleneck of the deck is Ad Nauseam. If it gets countered you are screwed. You would need Yawgmoth's Will or Xiahou Dun, the One-Eyed to get it back and that is assuming it wasn't exiled from the graveyard. If you had Expedition Map early that is great because it gets you Boseiju, Who Shelters All or Cavern of Souls. Now the only counter you care about is Venser, Shaper Savant, and then only if they can bounce him back to there hand to do it again. It doesn't ruin tempo because the deck doesn't do much between turns 1 and 4. The combined CMC of you deck is 18, the addition of one more life loss wouldn't screw you over to bad would it?
