Time to Go on an Heist

Hello my fellow Modern players. I was at GP San Diego, and realized standard sucks. I decided to sell off the deck and bought modern cards! This deck is an evolution of that original list.

  • The Leader; Thrun, the Last Troll. He can either lead the charge into the Tesco, or stay back and hold off the baddies.

  • The Grease; Eternal Witness. This chick is great. She can repair any damages to our equipment and revive our fallen crew.

  • The Guns; Primeval Titan. He can rampage through any blockade, and can carry our biggest gun, Kessig Wolf Run.

  • Comedic Relief; Kitchen Finks. This guy makes the heist less stressful. Even if you try to kill him, he comes back for more comedy.

  • The Spy; Scavenging Ooze. This fellow isn't very strong, but he can utilize the information he gathers to cause real damage.

  • Domri Rade is our lead hacker. He makes it much easier to gather the team, as sometimes they live in very remote areas. In addition, he doubles as an outfiter by finding new weapons for the crew.

  • Fauna Shaman is our recruiter. Unfortunately, our agency is very tight in jobs, so we often have to "fire" our employees. With a gun.

  • Evolutionary Leap is a great way to go through our database. The use of the machine requires us to assimilate employees into it, but it's fine. Often times we get more people to add to our database.

  • Temple of Abandon is our facility. We conduct all intel from here.

  • Ghost Quarter allows us to find new facilities to raid.

  • Xenagos, the Reveler is our director and lead manager. He helps get people ready for the field and gathers thrm for battle. He occasionally sends out an executive order of all hands on deck. That's generally all he needs.

  • Birds of Paradise is one of the deployers of the crew. He is real weak, but he does the job.

  • Sylvan Caryatid is another deployer. She likes to entrench and use camouflage so she can survive in the field.

  • Huntmaster of the Fells   protects us and can add more troops to the ground.

  • Master of the Wild Hunt allows us to send cannon fodder into facilities we need to capture. He can coordinate our troops onto a single target also.

  • Lightning Bolt can kill troops or damage bases with a drone strike.

  • Thragtusk is a good buddy of PrimeTime. She helps the infiltrations go smoothly and brings her friends to a fight.

I want to find spots for Spellskite. Beast Within seems to be another card I want all up ins. Sarkhan Vol would be rad.
Nothing at the moment.
Tarmagoyf is too expensive and quick honestly pretty lame.

-Shatterstorm against Robots and Drones is very good.

-Back to Nature + Rending Volley for matter replication facilities, like Splinter Twin.

( Rending Volley pulls double-duty against all forms of U/W/X)

-Tormod's Crypt and Grafdigger's Cage against occult cults (Note: the Cage doesn't stop Living End from going off.

-Blood Moon against special ops bases. (Recently, I besmirched its powah. I'm glad I was wrong.)

-Obstinate Baloth + Roast against the British and Canadian spy agencies, Abzan and Jund.

-Feed the Clan is great Versus terrorists (Beware of Atarka's Command in Naya/Gruul burn).

Special thanks to chiefbell, FAMOUSWATERMELON, NoPantsParade, Jay, UpsetYoMama, and lemmingllama.

Thanks to SwaggyMcSwagglepants for the inspiration to do a theme.

Updates Add

Well my friends, this is the end. I am officially retiring this deck. I had so much fun learninng with y'all. This deck really symbolizes a big amount of time I have spent on the game. So while naming everyone who has ever helped me would take forever, I would at least like to thank you. I never would have made it to almost 60 up-votes without y'all. I may one day dust off this deck, but for now, this is the closing of one of my greatest chapters. Much love to all you wonderful people.
