Have you tried xenagos, the reveler yet? If so, is he a good planeswalker or another jace, the living guildpact

Eiyros Xenagos, the Reveler is already in the deck, and Jace, the Living Guildpact is blue.

I meant is he so far a good planeswalker to you, or a bad one like jace the living guildpact.

First of all. You're getting an upvote from me simply for how you display your deck. Awesome sauce all over the place. Secondly, How would you feel about Ogre Battledriver being a general of the army? Not only does he boost attack, but he gives haste which you could say he boosts moral and motivates your army to win and burst through any lines of defense. I would suggest two and, based on how it seems your deck works, maybe take out one Scavenging Ooze and one Kitchen Finks. Both will work fine with two of each in the deck, and with the utility you have to get your creatures two of each should be fine. Another question is would it be better to make Evolutionary Leap or Fauna Shaman up to 4 of one? Do they both do enough work where two work great for the deck?

Thanks for taking the time to look at the deck! I really appreciate it.
Damn, Ogre Battledriver is sweet. I think it is a strong consideration. I think I can break it down this way:
Pros:
Makes all of my guys super buff
Allows creatures to attack immediately
Works well with my tokens
Cons:
Dies to Lightning Bolt
No resistance or evasion
This is more of a fault on my part, but I play aggro decks like control decks. This would force me to be super aggressive. Though that might be a plus.
Thematically, I like to think that he is more like coffee. Coffee is destructive, makes you hyper, and makes you get swole.

I like Evo Leap and the Shaman work well as 2-ofs. I like the utility of both. I think they work well in their current configuration.

Well I guess I should ask is it up for consideration? haha
Secondly A LOT of your creatures die to Lightning Bolt. Doesn't mean they are not good or should be excluded.
Also I guess I can see where your deck is played in a control style. Pretty sweet though that just one card can switch the tempo. For me I'd say that is a plus. You can play control style but some decks just push through it. It would be nice to switch up on your opponent and put them on the defense when they are not ready for it. Obviously it is just a suggestion, but with or without it I really like the deck.

Pheardemons Definitely up for consideration.
About 7 creatures in the deck will always die to bolt. 4 Birds of Paradise, 2 Fauna Shaman, 1 Master of the Wild Hunt. The main thing about the deck is that my creatures are generally super anti-removal.
I think the whole tempo thing is valid, but the problem is mostly just my play style.
I'm glad you like the deck!

+1! Awesome deck! I play a similar one and would love any feedback. Standby for Titanfall

What do you think about the idea of adding Mina and Denn, Wildborn? its got a little bit of ramp and grants you trample on your non-tramplers. Den Protector might be able to replace eternal witness too, what with the whole "creatures can't block it" clause and the morph trigger not being counterable by most spells.
February 2, 2016 11:59 p.m.
This deck strikes me as being a bit too unfocused. You have Eternal Witness, but precious few cards that hit the graveyard on their own (recurring things your opponent removed or sacrified to either Evolutionary Leap or Eternal Witness for value is cute, but it's not reliable). If you're planning to wring value out of it E-Wit, you need cards like Chord of Calling and Collected Company.
Secondly, you're playing a "ramp deck", but you don't have that much ramp (4 Birds and 4 Caryatids is a ramp package, but having 2 accelerators doesn't really make you a ramp deck), nor do you have many payoff cards (1 Primeval Titan, and maybe we could consider the 3 Thragtusks part of it, but not really). If you're going to go for the big mana approach, I'd suggest you lean on it a bit harder. Otherwise, it's not really worth including.
Thirdly, you seem to be counting on hitting value plays with an otherwise unimpressive creature selection to grind your opponent out. That could potentially work against the likes of Zoo, but hardcore attrition decks like Eldrazi and fast aggro decks like Affinity, Burn, Elves, and Merfolk are going to eat you alive, especially because those ramp creatures you've included are mostly dead topdecks against the likes of an Oblivion Sower, a Vault Skirge with Cranial Plating on it, or a swarm of islandwalking fish-people. 4 Bolts in not enough interaction, and your sideboarded answers aren't fast or potent enough to fend these decks off.
Overall, I think this deck is a decent start, but it has to be refined a fair bit before it can truly be considered competitive. I'd start by deciding if you want to play value-based midrange (in which case you need more stuff that messes with your opponent) or ramp (in which case you need more cards that get you mana and big things to play once you have it).

MattStar Thank you for commenting! Sorree it took so long to respond, kinda forgot.
Mina and Denn, Wildborn seems interesting. I like the synergy with Temple of Abandon, and trample is pretty nice. Definitely up for consideration.
Den Protector is interesting, but ultimately not good enough. I would rather pay 3 mana one turn rather than 4 mana over 2 turns. Ultimately it is personal choice.
February 4, 2016 2:57 p.m.
Yeah dude, no problem.
i'd just like to add though that i kinda agree with rothgar13. this deck does seem a little unfocused. when i play-tested it, i frequently got mana flooded rolling into mana creatures when i was on top-deck mode, and didnt really see much of a win condition beyond your 1-of-Primeval Titan. i feel like you should throw in some other big-green-bombs as 1-ofs and run 4 Fauna Shaman so you can get those early and just search out whatever you need for whatever situation when you can afford it.
as far as what your bombs should be, i dunno, what ever you feel like. Genesis Hydra, polukranos, Worldspine Wurm, Borborygmos Enraged are all things to get the noodle thinkin.
February 4, 2016 8:09 p.m.
Yeah, I think a Polukranos, World Eater or 2 would do this deck a world of good. I playtested your deck, and it has a bit of a hard time transitioning into closing out the game once it's stabilized with all of those Huntmaster of the Fells Flip and Kitchen Finks, especially against other midrange decks.

Alright, thank you two (rothgar13 and MattStar) for the feedback. I've really only tested versus control, combo, and Afffinity/Burn (all good matchups), so I don't have much play testing against Midrange. I can beat Abzan (50/50) and Jund (75/25), but that was a little bit ago.
So I'm a Patron for ForestBearStudios, and they recently (yesterday) played with my deck. They suggested that I make the deck Naya using Sun Titan, Path to Exile and Restoration Angel. What do you think? Leyline of Sanctity and Ghostly Prison could make a stronger sideboard.
Because I don't want to look for cuts, how about these for a theoretical change;

bah-bammmm If you want to call it that, sure. You would be wrong, but you could. This is more of a MAC n' cheese build. If you want a "good" version, I have a deck linked already right above your comment.

I'm not too sure if the mana dorks like Sylvan Caryatid and Birds of Paradise are any good for a build like that. I would just put in better, small value creatures. Mana dorks in modern that serve only for ramp purposes and not for utility like Noble Hierarch don't serve very well in a beat down strategy

bah-bammmm You may be right, but I like the kind of acceleration it provides for my non-chord strategies. It also lets the creatures that produce tokens and such get out faster. It's mostly personal preference.

I guess I'm just a little confused as to what the deck does. Is it just play dudes, attack?
