A deck that I thought about while watching several UB control decks played against Delver decks in Standard....thought it'd be fun to mix my favorite Zen Ascension in with it, and add some good fun to the mix! :D
So obviously the main idea is to have a Delver flip on turn two, and immediately start activating the Bloodchief Ascension. Then, as the game progresses, you can start milling your opponent with Nephalia Drownyard/Jace, Memory Adept (an any turn Jace with an activated Ascension is a won game, if they're at or under 20 life).I mean, at its core, this is really just a Modern Budget Delver deck, as I don't have any Snapcaster Mages to run, or those Ravnica Island/Swamps, or anything like that, but I do have some stuff that could make it fun, such as the possibility of Liliana of the Veil or whatever else I may find.
Haha forgot Ponder was illegal in Modern.Well, maybe it's Vintage now. Would have to find another spell that could replace Ponder to make it Modern compatible, or just leave it Vintage. Whatever works hahaThoughts? Suggestions? Help? Comments? Let me know! Thanks! :D
