The idea of the deck is to use Chief Engineer to get big artifact creatures like Scuttling Doom Engine and Soul of New Phyrexia into play. The deck can be a little slow so i'm using spells like Polymorphist's Jest, and Void Snare to help slow other decks down. Ensoul Artifact + Darksteel Citadel makes a okay back up plan. Also Shrapnel Blast + Scuttling Doom Engine is fun, a potential for 17 damage if i attack with the doom engine, and it isn't blocked, then resolve Shrapnel Blast choosing it to sac.

Against decks with spot removal i can sideboard in my counter spells to help protect my important creatures

Against decks with lots of creatures I can sideboard in my burn to help keep them at bay while i get my big artifacts into play.
