The Bloodsoaked Mardu Rabble Horde

Standard Aggro Competitive RBW (Mardu) Tribal

Sideboard

This is my style of Mardu. It is more of a tempo deck I usually have something to do each turn. Depending on draw though this deck can play very aggro then finish at the top of the curve. Also it can run kind of midrange if I don't hit low drops. This in my opinion is the optimal style of Mardu. It is quick and powerful with a suite of removal.

So how this thing runs is preety nice:

Turn 1: drop a Bloodsoaked Champion

Turn 2: play a Seeker of the Way

Turn 3: you got either Goblin RabblemasterOr Banishing Light to remove my opponents pesky 3 drops.

Turn 4: depending on wether your on the play or not you got Butcher of the Horde which you can feed a bloodsoaked or some goblin tokens to smash five and gain some life. Also there is Sorin, Solemn Visitor to make a vampire always on your first activation on this turn. Lastly is anyone of your removal spells. Preferably you want to use your Crackling Doom or Utter End before your Hero's Downfall.

Turn 5: here is when if it all plays well you will end the game. You have an option here of Wingmate Roc and triggering the raid and get two birdies. Other option is Liliana Vess then go ahead and tutor and find any thing you need.

This deck essentially runs preety close to this every time it is very consistent. I have not had much testing against the top decks other than abzan. Which this deck beats that one consistently. Also I should fair well agaisnt Jeskai tempo. I have bigger flying creatures and consistent life gain. Green decks not sure yet on how this will do but it should be able to handle them with all the removal and constant pressure it can apply early. Then finish in the air. Well let me know anyone if you test this agaisnt some other decks how it does!!! Advice and +1's appreciated!!!!

So I finally got this to fnm Friday. I went 3-1 lost in the final round to be champ and took 3rd. Round 1- Bye

Round 2- I played jeskai tempo and 2-0. I was actually to fast for him and had removal for his threats. Plus all the life gain. :)

Round 3- I played a B/U control with win con of Prognostic Sphinx. I won 2-1. First game I got mana screwed and drew nothing but big threats. Secind game I nickled and dimed him with all my low drops literally cause I stuck on three mana but it was all I needed. The third game I played all creatures and walkers on curve and just smashed him.

Round 4- I was against Abzan midrange but not the Ari Lax version possibly a little better one. I lost 2-1. First match mana screwed couldn't get a white source so I couldn't do much. Second game i got stuck on three mana for a few turns as he flooded those turns. I then hit my lands and I had all the fire power I needed to win. Game 3 we were back and forth with creatures but he then gained the upper hand so I had to use a end hostilities cause he had rhinos and coursers. After I tried to drop my fatties but he removed two butchers and I never hit another removal and he hit another rhino. I then had to drop a wingmate with no trigger and he then removed that as well. If I would have hit removal I would have won cause I had a liliana out he wasn't hitting that I could have tutored with if I could have lasted another turn. Also in this match I feel i messed up and should have never sided in end hostilities and instead should have sided in thoughtseize.

All in all great run for its first fnm seeing as I never got to play test against anything except a jank Abzan deck.
