Sideboard

Toying around with some ideas for standard. So far there looks to be a ton of mono-red aggro and control (read: Supreme Verdicts). This deck attempts to play well to both.

Obviously the idea being to pump your Chimera and/or fan out from your Pyromancer with a myriad of spells. The biggest player here being Steam Augury for card advantage and combo. If you've got a Chimera out or you pull one with Steam Augury, your opponents' decision gets much more difficult. Even if you're still waiting on a Chimera, all of a sudden 4-and-1 to get the card you really want isn't as painful. Forcing Steam Augury to be an imposition makes this reverse Fact or Fiction even better than it already was.

Voyage's End plays two roles here. First to clear the way mid/late game for your attack if you need it, and second as evasion for your own creatures off a Supreme Verdict (or Abrupt Decay, etc.).

Similarly, Weapon Surge can play a couple roles. The first strike and small pump can help your Chimera/Pyromancer survive combat (e.g. you want to get the trample through, but it's not yet critical damage) and the overload plays great as a win-con in games where you've spread out successfully off one or two Pyromancers.

Jace and the hammer are there really as bonuses for mid/late game matches to stop the deck from going flat (plus, top decking a Chimera late game can be an instant win with haste and trample).

As the meta fleshes out I'll probably swap in better utility spells (especially in the side board) which may involve more Quickens. I love Quicken in this deck, but i'm just not running enough sorceries to really go all in on it (I still may end up doing so just for the deck thinning and combo off Chimera).
