This deck was made to be a fun casual deck to play. One of my favorite creature sub-types are knights and I wanted to build a tribal deck around knights.

Finding the right commander for this deck was pretty difficult. I already knew I need to be in at least Black and White. At first I looked at Anafenza, the Foremost but didn't like how slow her ability was. After much consideration Queen Marchesa was the one. Her being an actual Queen is very flavorful for the deck and I like the idea of a bunch of knights protecting their queen. Another thing that I like about Marchesa is that she introduces a fun mechanic into the game that you don't usually get in a standard commander game.

Now not only does this deck have a ton of Knights, it also has a bit of a pillowfort vibe with Dictate of Erebos, Ghostly Prison, Karmic Justice , and No Mercy. I want to be the Monarch and tax people if they want to attack me to take the monarch away from me.

I also put in cards that work well in Tribal decks like, Coat of Arms, Shared Triumph, Door of Destinies, Urza's Incubator, and Obelisk of Urd.
