Honestly this is a nice deck, but it doesn't need to be Modern, with the stuff you're using it's better off Standard, if you're going to make it Modern use more modern stuff. But good start. :)

Thanks, had a chance to play the deck today. It handled ok, it was against a straight control deck so it was rough, but still fun!

As someone who often uses ridiculous deck names, I appreciate this. As for suggestions, seems like some Axebane Guardian could potentially help with the mana ramp alongside those defenders.

it would be fairly easy to make this standard but i guess it would be rotating in about a month.

Yeah, I thought about it. I ended up deciding to go modern with it even though It really just is a casual/ two headed giant deck.

With your mana producing creatures I think you could do pretty well if you just changed a majority of them to Axebane Guardian and Overgrown Battlement . You could produce all of the colors and in a higher volume with just a few of them out. And they block early aggro better than slivers and elves.

Done and done, certainly helps mana correct better and I can see it protecting aggro much more efficiently. Fog might be added soon as well.

More Axebane Guardian than Overgrown Battlement might do you well because axebane can give you more options for your mana in terms of color.

Yeah, I liked overgrown because of the 2 CMC, but I suppose with my elves and such I produce enough G that I can ramp to 3 pretty quick
