This deck is looking to use Tana the Bloodsower to fuel a Jund-sac style gameplan, where Saprolings are a key resource in fueling the engine. Pumping Tana with cards like Invigorate and Vines of Vastwood yields Saprolings, which can then be used with cards like Perilous Forays (to ramp), Dictate of Erebos (to control the board) and Blade of the Bloodchief (to grow Tana even more). The deck contains a variety of sacrifice outlets (e.g. Spawning Pit, Evolutionary Leap) as well as protection pieces for key components (Snakeskin Veil, Hammer of Nazahn). Win conditions come in the form of the second commander, Sengir the Dark Baron, as well as multipurpose pump cards like Return of the Wildspeaker and Bloodspore Thrinax.
