Manifest Destiny
The main goal of this deck is to outpace your opponent using the new FTF mechanic, manifest creating 2/2 colorless creatures with spells such as Cloudform, Reality Shift, Soul, Wildcall and Whisperwood Elemental.
This mechanic allows you to flip your creature at instant speed by paying its mana cost. Morph creatures with low casting cost in comparison to there abilities seem to shine brightest.
ENGINE: Whisperwood Elemental+Sigiled Starfish+Prognostic Sphinx+Lens of Clarity
Whisperwood Elemental - The ability to morph at the end of your turn is incredible field advantage. Especially with strong synergies in the deck. tops out my curve at cmc. With the amount of thinning with fetches and Trail of Mystery 2 copies is enough.
Prognostic Sphinx - win con that sets up your manifest and draws really getting things in order for the end of your turn
Sigiled Starfish - The ability to know when is the optimal time to cast your Cloudform and Soul Summons is what makes this deck work.
MORPH CREATURES
Master of Pearls - when manifested flips for giving +2/+2 to your creatures.
Icefeather Aven - When manifested flips for returning target creature.
Hooded Hydra - When manifested flips for receiving 5 +1/+1 counters. Which upon death creates snake tokens. WomboCombo, Thank you!
The beautiful dynamic to playing with morph and manifest is your opponent being in the dark as to your true boardstate questioning there every play asking themselves what is that vanilla face down 2/2... Counter? Buff? Bounce? Snake Hydra? This really allows you an extra level of game play as bluffing comes into play. Nothing more gratifying than responding to an opponents actions by flipping a creature who's ability can not be countered or interrupted.
SUPPORT
Sylvan Caryatid - articles have been written about how incredibly powerful she is because she is. allows for incredible mana fixing and acceleration.
Trail of Mystery - incredible synergy turning your manifest into manafest amazing synergy in the deck.
Lens of Clarity - the ability to know what your are going to manifest is pivotal to this deck's synergy.
Ghostfire Blade - this allows your to go so many different directions in this build all of them directed towards the colorless 2/2s morph/manifest creatures .
MANIFEST:
You may put an overlay card on a manifested creature while it's on the battlefield. The overlay is just a reminder.
You don't have to use it if you don't want to, and it doesn't change how face-down creatures function.
Any time you have priority, you can turn a manifested creature face up if it's a creature card. You do this by revealing what its mana cost is and paying that cost.
As soon as the card is face up, it has its normal characteristics.
If you manifest a noncreature card, it can't be turned face up this way.
If you happen to manifest a card with morph, you can turn it face up either by paying its mana cost (if it's a creature card) or by paying its morph cost.
Turning a face-down creature face up doesn't use the stack and can't be responded to.
If the face-down creature has any counters on it, those remain on the face-up creature. It's not a new creature, and it doesn't enter the battlefield just by turning face up.
Any Auras or Equipment attached to the manifested creature remain attached to it after it turns face up.
A few older cards turn a face-down creature face up. If you manifest an instant or sorcery card, and one of these older cards tries to turn it face up, reveal the card and it stays on the battlefield face down.
