I'm sure there will be alot that manifest will have alot of hurdles I'm most certain there will be more cards like lens but I'm not certain it will see much play off jump street but I'll cross that bridge when I come to it though it dosnt hurt to start devising a plan now thank you..

I dont know if anyone has mentioned it yet but Smoke Teller kind of has a place here. So you can have a look at what you have manifested. Otherwise how do you know whether or not you can actually flip it for its CMC?

Wow this deck has changed since I first saw it. Haha. I'll check it out a bit more and throw out a couple of suggestions in a little while. Let me think on it. :p

no Smoke Teller suggested yet I've been researching the manifest mechanic and as a precursor to morph so on the field i believe it is permissible to peep that jank otherwise how would i even know what the mana requirements for the creature.

I could be wrong but i dont think you can peek at something that you have manifested. Ill ask in the rulings for clarification and get back to you. And not knowing whether it is even a creature or land was the reason i suggested the teller and may be why the guy was printed in the first place.

Quadsimotto and hateindigital, according to the Mechanics of Fate Reforged article, you are of course permitted to look at any face down permanent you control. Otherwise, how would you know whether or not you can flip it? They wouldn't make you depend on some other card to look at your own morphs, so why would it be different for manifest? Reread the article to confirm.

I like what I see in Manifest and Trail of Mystery combo. Whisperwood Elemental will help out in the late game.

Courser is obviously just a good card. The only flaw with it I see in this deck is that then your opponents know what your face down creatures ar too, which kind of defeats the point. Lens of Clarity allows only you to see your top card, and has that added benefit of being able to see your opponents morphed/manifested cards. This is usually irrelevant, but is indispensable when playing against morph/manifest.
I saw a neat modern deck a few days ago you might find interesting. I can't link to it because there's another deck with the same name (manifest destiny) preventing me, but basically the idea was to Soul Summons with Emrakul on top, then Cloudshift, thus giving you a turn 4-5 15/15 flying annihilator six etc etc. Thought you might like the concept.

It's a valid point I figured they'd know but it would have a 3 card Monty effect looks like I'll be moving to thassa

Why her? She is good of course, but for this position she only tells you what's on top between your upkeep and draw step, so you only have instant speed manifestation capacity- something that doesn't exist in here. May or may not exist at all. Maybe some Therosian permanent with
"Throw some mana at me, maybe tap: Scry-Number (probably 1)-"?
Witches' Eye isn't that great, but is all that comes to mind.

I ran a card search. These look like all the ones that fit for permanent with a useful, recurring scry ability that doesn't rely upon heroic or something. Other than Lens of Clarity. And the temples.

Sorry for triple posting, but I didn't actually read oracle's insight beyond scry 1. Thst wouldn't actually work.

Sigiled Starfish was what immediately came to mind. Thank for your input awesome result I think.

Playtested half a dozen games vs. my deck Whispers of the Great Hunt.
The # of basics kills you. Multiple games I had to mulligan because I was missing a color and most cards in hand required that color. I also noticed multiple games where I never drew a second source of . If you're brewing to explore a concept, try with a "solid" landbase of fetches, temples, etc. and then pare it back slowly through playtesting (if you're brewing this to reflect cards you actually own then, well... more testing with ratios). Don't be afraid to use Tranquil Cove or Thornwood Falls or Blossoming Sands to help fix as well, they aren't as nice as the temples but they certainly help.
Why Sigiled Starfish? It can only Scry 1 so it's not like it can tap on opponent's end to set up a favorable Manifest for you next turn. It also has no offensive capabilities whatsoever.
I think the list would benefit from some support - currently the list is 100% drop creatures, get Manifests, swing for the fences. Why not some countermagic or protection (a la Gods Willing and friends)? I think you could probably drop 2 Soul Summons, 1 Trail of Mystery, 1 Lightform and 1Ghostfire Blade and have some room to play with spells. Maybe Monastery Siege for the dual usage.
If you really want to keep the Manifest theme going, go up to 3 Whisperwood Elemental - every time you played him I had to either hope I had my own to respond with, or hope that I could race you cuz he gets out of hand quickly.
I like this deck concept, it's really neat. I'd been wanting to figure out how to best use my playsets of Flooded Strand and Windswept Heath and this is a great contender...

alulien i added some temples for scry and a bit more mana fix went to 3 on whisperwoods. as far as the starfish the reoccurring scry before then end of my turn to make sure i manifest the right spells. thank you for your support i will take this all into consideration as i work on bettering this build i really appreciate your input.

This thing looks pretty sweet as a repeatable way to manifest while also gaining back some life.

The new Cloudform (Not added to TO yet) would fit amazingly well here.
Awesome deck!

love the concept been thinking along these lines myself for a while. been playtesting for a bit and biggest problem is the same problem with my ktk morph deck. First its too slow, and second there are just too many spells and enchantments that don't affect board state. Namely secret plans, trail of mystery and the white one i cant remember. I agreee these are all awesome cards and a reason to want to build this deck, but even turn two if you could cast sylvan caryatid, you would because it feels better. casting spells that do nothing for multiple turns feels awful. Especially when youre using up spots for them that could hold protection spells like feat of resistance or even valorous stance. I really want to see this deck succeed and become a viably consistent deck. So lets brainstorm how to make manifest and morph into a force to be reckoned with.
Now I strongly agree with the color selection, as well as the creature choices especially the hooded hydra, master of pearls and icefeather aven. These card take great advantage of the low manifest cost, and the second two are great because early if you need creatures they provide cheap bodies. Whisperwood elemental is a must as well. Sylvan caryatid and scryfish are great includes as well because of their utility for this mechanic. One creature I want to see here is the temur sabertooth. This creature can return spells and lands that get manifested, but also dodges removal with pseudo indestructibility. Wild call also might be good to consider given that you can get anything from a 2/2 for 2 a 3/3 for 3 etc, its efficient and flexible, makes a manifested land seem better if its a 4/4, and then we slap a ghost blade on it, thats a 6/6 for five mana.
Ive put a lot of thought into this deck, but im no expert my opinions are just that, so take it or leave it.

Could Prophet of Kruphix find a place here? Maybe as a one-of? Might be a bit slow or hard to swap something out for. But the idea of dropping Whisperwood then next turn dropping prophet to manifest at end of turn and then have mana to flip whatever it is(assuming it's a creature) seems pretty good.
If anything I'll just hold that idea for casual games.

What will you do about Lens of Clarity? Maybe you should add Reclamation Sage or artifact removal sideboard.
