After participating in the OGW prerelease, I was hungry so I went out to eat. Then I was thinking about all the really flavorful colorless cards that came out with this set and I decided to try my hand at making a colorless standard deck.
My Meal:
Eldrazi Mimic/Matter Reshaper: Wonderful appetizers that can transition into the next course. While these sit on my plate, I can smell a slight sweetness, but as I delve into my meal, the flavor explodes and rapidly changes.
Bane of Bala Ged/Conduit of Ruin: My main course, with a very unique tang to it. When properly prepared, there may be no need for desert.
Endbringer/Thought-Knot Seer: My favorite condiments. I can choose to spice and flavor my meal as I choose with this delectable sauce. I can choose how much to put, when to put it, and even which variety! A staple in my colorless kitchen.
Reality Smasher: A nice bottle of water. Clear, like water, this helps to sweep a game into victory. This beverage can either wet my throat so I may begin my meal, or wash away my last bite.
Extras:
Hedron Crawler/Hedron Archive/Sword of the Animist: The $$$ I used to pay for my meal. Food isn't free; the more money I have, the more food I get, and as a bonus, I get the food faster too!
Spatial Contortion/Titan's Presence/Warping Wail: My reservation at the restaurant. And, it just so happens I bought out the whole place. I wouldn't want anyone interrupting my meal, now would I?
Mirrorpool/Sea Gate Wreckage/Rogue's Passage: My phone while I waited for the next course to arrive. I would hate to have to just sitting aimlessly, when I could be busying myself while my meal is being prepared!
Any advice or suggestions are welcome, but I would like to uphold 2 things: Semi-budget and Colorlessness. Thanks!
