I was originally going to build a Prosper, Tome-Bound deck out of the precon, but I ended up souring on the idea of a general "value" commander with no strong theme but card advantage and ramp, and I decided the goad mechanic was more interesting. Since Karazikar is in the precon, it's what I went with.
