Ramp out Kozilek, make him unblockable and give him the ability to OHKO.

Step 1: Ramp

This deck plays a lot of artifacts that tap for mana. The first few turns, your goal is play your land and attempt to drop as many mana-generating artifacts as you can. Ideally, you want to dump your entire hand on the board so you can get Kozilek out early and completely refill your hand when you cast him.

Step 2: Make sure Kozilek can hit

It's no fun swinging with a monstrous 12/12 Eldrazi titan if it just gets chump blocked all day! We need to ensure that he can connect.

• Whispersilk Cloak - This equipment not only makes Kozilek unblockable, it protects him as well!
• Trailblazer's Boots - Nonbasic landwalk! Nearly every EDH deck plays nonbasic lands, so this equipment is almost ensured to make Kozilek unblockable.
• Executioner's Hood - Intimidate means the creature can only be blocked by artifact creatures or creatures that share a color with it. Kozilek doesn't have a color, so that means with this equipped Kozilek can only be blocked by artifact creatures. Thanks to menace, that'll need to be at least two artifact creatures.
• Prowler's Helm - Since most EDH decks don't run walls, requiring the defender to need two walls effectively makes Kozilek unblockable.
• Silent Arbiter - If players can only block with one creature each combat and Kozilek can only be blocked by two or more creatures, do you know what that means? He's unblockable!
• Vorrac Battlehorns - With menace, Kozilek can only be blocked by two or more creatures. With this equipped he can't be blocked by more than one creature. Result? Unblockable!

Step 3: OHKO

Sure, Kozilek is an enormous 12/12 that only needs to hit an opponent twice to defeat him or her with commander damage, but it's more efficient, and much more satisfying, to take an opponent out with a single strike.

• Hedron Matrix - Not only is Kozilek huge in terms of power, but he's also huge in terms of mana cost. This equipment takes advantage of that giving him +10/+10 to make him a 22/22 game ender.
• Fireshrieker - Kozilek needs to hit twice to defeat an opponent, so granting him double strike lets him get both hits in one turn for an effective takedown!
• Grappling Hook - Another double strike enabler.
• Grafted Exoskeleton - Not only can you win by dealing 21 commander damage to an opponent, but you can also win by giving an opponent 10 poison counters. By equipping this to Kozilek, you can deal out 14 poison counters with a single swing!

Miscellaneous

• Assault Suit - Share the excitement of dealing amazing amounts of commander damage with your opponents! Tempt them into attacking your opponents and doing your dirty work for you! Not only that, this equipment doubles as important protection from opponents that may try to force you to sacrifice your own creatures.
• All Is Dust - Since we can only play colorless cards in a Kozilek deck, this is effectively a one-sided board wipe.
• Ugin, the Spirit Dragon - Essentially another All Is Dust.

Most of the creatures in this deck are either there for ramping or providing an alternative threat in case you can't get Kozilek going for whatever reason. The excess mana rocks can be held in hand for discarding to Kozilek's ability to counter spells.
