Deck is coming along nicely, I've filled out a good amount of the creatures + Commander.

As for Rancor , Primal Frenzy has a bear on it. So it's a keeper.

What about Primeval Bounty for a nice peaceful bear habitat before the slaughter?(I think we can all agree that Wizards really meant for that 3/3 Beast to read 3/3 Bear.)

Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx could be in the combo instead of Gaea's Cradle and it would work relatively well, not as good but you could replace a forest with nykthos. for some interaction in case you're missing the cradle

This deck really needs to be revised now that Khans of Tarkir is out. Bear's Companion , Savage Punch , Surrak Dragonclaw , and Awaken the Bear

Deck is staying monogreen. Savage Punch is a no-go, can't have my bears get punched. Awaken the Bear and Alpine Grizzly are 100% in though.

Just wanted to let you know I'm building my own variation of this is because its awesome. Also, since Epic Struggle is a possible win-con for this deck, I'm adding Steely Resolve to help sure-up bear-board.
