Communal Conspiracy Deck

Casual* Casual Multiplayer

Jaxonblade

Maybeboard

Conspiracy and Conspiracy 2 have really ignited the excitement of drafting in me and my friends.

Unfortunately after 3rd or 4th week of drafting the latest standard set, it becomes stagnant and predictable.

Why not have the fun of Conspiracy all the time?

What I am hoping to achieve with this deck, is something that can be played alongside any and all drafts. This is a cheap (unless you want to foil it out) and fun alternative, in the vein of the Planechase and Archenemy formats.

My base concept is like this:

Each player starts with 3 boosters (as per normal) with the Communal Conspiracy Deck (CCD) in the middle of the table.

As the booster is opened or handed to you, you draw 3 cards off the top of the CCD and then draft a card out of the lot.

You may take a card from the CCD OR the booster.

If you decide to take a card from the CCD, you put the other 2 cards you drew on the bottom in any order, take nothing from the booster (unless you have conspiracy hi jinx to interact with), and then pass the booster to the next player.

The Draft ends when all cards from all starting boosters are drafted. If a player is passed an empty booster then they may continue to draft from the CCD until all regular booster cards are drafted. Personally, i feel that some of the cards into he CCD will be extremely overpowered in the end, while others will be next to useless.

I could have easily just grabbed all the Conspiracy Cards, All cards that say draft, jammed them together and said GO but I feel that some cards would be better with multiples (Regicide and Garbage Fire) but at the same time I want it balanced. Preferably I would at least want one copy of each of the conspiracies and each of the draftable cards. What I have at current is a single copy of all the cards that fit the style and flavor of this deck. What I NEED is appropropriate quantities of these cards to make for a better play experience.

I have deliberately avoided any cards that require voting as it would make the CCD too large... or would it? I you think it would be fine, please comment.

Lastly, this is the first time i have posted a deck with description, so any formatting suggestions would be greatly valued

IMPORTANT

I have added Lore Seeker to the list, but i understand some peoples hesitation. For those who dont know, you add another booster to the draft, If you dont start the draft with a spare booster I suggest removing it from the CCD
