I would personally recommend Gavony Township. It could come in real handy in the late game!

Voice of Resurgence. 'Nuff said.

@GabeCubed: Yes, absolutely. On an unrelated note, could you maybe possibly loan a brother $100?

SoggyGecko says... #5

I don't even have $100.. But if you can get it, seriously, that card is awesome. It kinda makes it worse that half I play is control.. good thing no one around me has that card.

And when did it jump to that price!? Last time I checked it was closer to $10-15.

@GabeCubed: When Abzan midrange saturated the living shit out of the competitive meta. I thought it would go down after pod got banned. Nope.

Nice deck! This would be more of some sideboard tech against burn removal, but have you checked out Mark of Asylum? Works against stuff like Anger of the Gods or Mizzium Mortars.

What about Auriok Champion?

September 25, 2015 9:13 a.m.

Storm525 says... #11

@Outriderblue: That's a good suggestion, I haven't dealt with too much burn though.

@K34: Same deal with Voice of Resurgence I know it's good, like, really good, but fuck me is it expensive.

Why no Serra Ascendant? Also have you tried running Razorverge Thickets over Sunpetal Grove?

@smackder: This deck doesn't gain life as aggressively as a mono white sisters deck, so I use the 1 drop slot to ramp and fix with birds. The fastlands are good, but they can be bad in mid-late game, the checklands pretty much always come in untapped, since every other land save for the fetches and townships is a forest/plains.

Storm525 Sounds good, i prefer the fast lands over the check lands purely because a tapped check land early game, say turn 1 or 2 can really slow down your pace when it's most important while a fast land always is always guaranteed untapped early on, while later on when it enters tapped it's usually not necessary anyway. Depending how you see the whole situation really.

Hey man nice deck, if you're gonna go more Beatdown, consider Loxodon Smiter. It wrecks Liliana, is uncounterable, and Collected Company hits it, besides being a huge 4/4 for 3 mana. But if you don't have room, that's cool. Just an idea. Also, maybe consider Rancor instead of Unflinching Courage. It's cheaper, gets back from the graveyard, and has a higher power bonus.

Lol Rancor only gives +2 power I just read my comment and in was wrong.

@nateblego: Thanks for the suggestions, I'll try out Rancor, I already have Loxodon Smiter in the sideboard though, it does come in handy when I need it.

With the latest set, have you considered Nissa, Voice of Zendikar? Spits out tokens, pumps up your guys, and can come out turn 2, which is decent.

Other ideas might be Noble Hierarch (extra Exalted is nice), Elspeth, Knight-Errant (lots of tokens, plus extra fun if she gets to 8...), and, if Bogles are still a thing where you play, Intervention Pact (doesn't target!).

Have you considered splashing black for Siege Rhino and/or Anafenza, the Foremost? Also, Wilt-Leaf Liege is a nice creature.

I'd like to see a budget version of this deck. Anyway +1 from me.

Also, Sunbond combos. And it is just good.

One thing that everyone has missed that would be amazing, turning this deck into beatdown would be Gavony Township. In other words, you have got to take all of your creatures to the Gavony Gym!!!

@j3r0me: My creatures already have a membership at the Gavony Gym, but thank you for the suggestion :)

@Storm525 They need to work out more. I have won many games with a Birds of Paradise which has worked out. He was BUFF!!!

Honestly though, 2-3 Gavony Townships more would allow your grindy matches to go much better.
