Maybeboard

Hey I've got a Boros aggro deck here that can curve out into a stormbreath, give me some feedback on how to improve please.

Here is the gameplan: Turn one get out a Rakdos Cackler followed up by a turn two Ash Zealot. That's four damage on turn two then turn three we've got a couple of options. First is just to put a creature out which would either be Boros Reckoner or a Chandra's Phoenix . This amount of damage by itself should be enough to win the game in five turns if you use a Boros Charm to deal 4 damage to the enemy. Another fun option that we have on turn three is to play Ajani, Caller of the Pride and +1 him to get a counter on somebody. then on turn four we put out our Spark Trooper and -3 Ajani, Caller of the Pride to give the Spark trooper flying and double strike along with his haste, lifelink, and trample. This combo is an easy 12 damage and even if you don't get the combo Spark Trooper by himself on turn four gives you a large edge against aggro and midrange with the life that you gain and that they will lose. I also have plenty of removal in the deck with Chained to the Rocks , Lightning Strike, and Magma Jet to get to the final nail in the coffin that is Stormbreath Dragon.

Other Cards:

Chandra, Pyromaster : This is a pretty good four drop for this deck. Chandra brings a lot of things to this deck that it needs, for the plus 1 its a bit of burn which is always helpful with an aggro deck. But the 0 is what is fantastic, more draw for an aggro deck means more creatures on the field.

Gods Willing : a cheap protection spell to protect my creatures and it allows me to scry which is helpful.

Chained to the Rocks : A great cared to get rid of those pesky creatures like desecration demon.

Purphoros, God of the Forge: Another needed four drop in this deck, Purphuros gives good burn to end games even faster after turn four and will probably be swinging on turn five due to the high amount of creatures in this deck.

Sideboard is there to help me with my bad match ups. Ive got Skullcrack against control and monoblack. I've got Assemble the Legion against controll and maybe midrange. Blind Obedience is a fantastic card that helps in all of my matchups. Lastly Warleader's Helix is there because it's a pretty good card overall.

All feedback will be helpful, thanks!

I went 4-1 at FNM with a mostly complete version of this deck. The way I played it was pretty simple, I just disregarded most creatures and planes walkers and went straight for the player. I ended up getting 3rd place and was able to buy a Stormbreath Dragon with store credit. I had everything except for the Sacred Foundryfoils, the Ash Zealots, 1 Boros Reckoner, the Chandra, Pyromaster, 1 Iroas, God of Victory *list*, and 2 Stormbreath Dragons.

First match - Bye I fucking love this shop, the owner gave me a bye the first round because I was talking to him before the tournament about trading some azorious control cards for some cards I needed for this deck. He told me to wait until he set up the tournament but he was still busy. So he gave me a bye so I could buy three Boros Reckoners. I then added them in and started the second round.

Second Match - Lost 0-2 I misplayed so hard oh god why me. I scryed a Chained to the Rocks and kept it even though I didn't have a white mana source :( rip. I may of been able to beat him if I didn't make that mistake but who knows. He was playing selesnya aggro, the second game he won pretty handily mostly due to bad draws on my part.

Third Match - Win 2-0 I did it team, I hit the sacred combo of Ajani, caller of the prides on turn three and a Spark Trooper on turn four. It was glorious :). The look on my opponents face was priceless. The second game I won pretty quickly with Warleader's Helix and Spark Trooper. The guy was playing a very cheap version of R/G monsters.

Fourth Match - Win 2-1
I played against another R/G monsters deck and this time the player had a bit of a better deck but still not complete. I won the first and last games pretty easily with burn and rushing with creatures. But the second game I fucked up by keeping a 5 lander with 1 creature :/ (Pro tip: don't do that)

Fifth and Final Match - 2-0 This was probably the closest match, I was versing a Dimir mill deck. The first game I got milled down to ten cards so next turn his jace would've killed me. My problem with this matchup was the frost walls, I couldn't swing with most of my creatures. My Chandra's Phoenixs and my Ajani, Caller of the Pride came in clutch this matchup. The allowed me to swing up top and that won me the game. The second game went a lot smoother with an easy turn five or six kill with burn spells and creatures.

Final Thoughts - I Love it I don't have all the cards yet and I can still kill people super easily. This FNM I had Warleader's Helix mainboard and it put in a lot of work for me so I think Ill put two or three of them mainboard. Then Spark Trooper and Boros Reckoner were the stars of the night they allowed me to be so aggressive and it always left my opponent with a difficult decision. My only problem with the deck is the matchup with G/R monsters, even though I beat two of those decks. After the FNM me and my friend played at my house for a couple hours and he had a complete G/R monsters deck and I couldn't keep up with its speed in putting out big creatures. I'm not too sure what to do for this matchup but only playing more will help me.
