BoB_6082, absolutely not!
The deck is very aggro and the cmc is low (considering the alternative cost of spells with madness, the cmc is about 1,6)
I played another RDW about 1 year ago and it's curve was similar to this, and I runned only 16 lands, so 17 lands is more than enough.
If you don't believe, you can Playtest it. You will see there's no need for mor lands.

Hey again, I also thought of Rush of Adrenaline instead of Titan's Strength because of the trample, and the scry isnt that important for my experience. What do you think?

rubenjr, thanks again for the suggestion!
Well, the trample don't matter in this deck. As I play lots of creatures, all in low cost, and have lots of ways of removing blockers, I'll always have at least one unblocked creature to target the Titan's Strenght. So, just the bonus 1 power is enough to let Titan's in.
Now, about the scry, it is very important. As an aggro deck needs to end up a fast game, you won't like drawing a land if you already have 3, or even won't like to draw a drop-3 spell if you only got 2 lands (yes, you can win the game with just 2 lands, and even with 1 land, depending on the cards in your hand). The scry may seem insignificant, but it helps a lot.

Makes sense! And it feels so good if you can win a game with only 2 lands! :P Almost a little dirty...

Thanks for your helpful suggestion on my GB deck. I thought RDW was dead, but this looks pretty potent. Post how you do when you finally take this to an FNM! Have you played with this at all yet? If so, how has it played? My only suggestion would be to consider Avaricious Dragon. He's not a vampire, but he can trigger madness incredibly well and threatens to close out a game if not dealt with.

I'm trying to get all the cards until friday, so I can play FNM this week.
I testd this deck a lot on cockatrice and its very consistent and really strong.
I've already considered Avaricious Dragon, but the problem with him is the cmc 4.My deck usualy stay only in 3 land. As I said previoulsy on another comment, my deck can play with only 2 lands. I almost never draw the 4th land, as I have only 17. And probably on turn 4~5 I'll play a Sin Prodder, reducing even more the chance of a land-draw.
So Avaricious is out /:

hey! I got the deck, played some games and went really well. The only thing that stands out to me is Avacyn's Judgment Its a sorcery 2 for 2 damage, and since i dont have more than 3/4 land very often its not bringing all that much value. Twin Bolt maybe? I doubt that card is better though, what are your thoughts? But dont get me wrong, the deck is awesome!

I feel the same about Judgment. It isn't working as I expect, so I'm going to replace it.
I don't know how yet, but maybe with Fiery Impulse.

Forget about Fiery Impulse. I'll use Twin Bolt as you suggested. The mana curve became very strange replacing a 2-drop for a 1-drop

I have nothing that can kill Ormendhal, it's true, but I can kill my opponent before he manage to flip the land.
Also, I can remove creatures as fast as he can create them, so it's not common for a deck (even a token deck) stay with 5 creatures on battlefield at the same time against a mono-red aggro
April 15, 2016 9:14 a.m.
um lol good luck with that.... Westvale Abbey can kill you in 4 turns and it doesnt even need to be on the field until they use Secure the Wastes on your end step and kill you as soon as Westvale Abbey flips

Cicjose that would be best case scenario for that deck. But 9/10 times this deck wins against b/w control. Trust me

ive been running this deck since you posted it, only problem i have are the youths, either i dont have the madness or the mana, i exchanged them for goldknight castigators, havent used the deck yet either, but wondering your thoughts on that. also sin prodder may i ask why only 3? a 3 drop for a 3/2 with menace is convincing enough for me to have 4.

I never had problems with youth. Now with Insolent Neonate it's even easier.
I don't like Goldnight castigator, he's 4 mana and can make you lose a game that you will win.
About the prodders, he's always target of removals, so I don't want one of them until my opponents has no hands. that will be about turn 4~5. So I prefer running only 3 and cast it safe after the opponents spends all his removals on weaker threats.

Goldknight won me 3 out of 10 matches, just kept saving them to finish with titans strength. A side board for sure because I main decked him against an Aggro/burn but didn't know it was a burn until too late, still won the match. I went 4-1 with the same recipe except I had goldknights, now the 1 lose was against r/g eldrazai ramp, wow and got destroyed by it. World breaker.... What to side Board for that??? Seriously.

No, the lands are ok.
Actually I flooded about 3 times, and lacked of mana just 1 time.

Been looking for a competitive RDW. Looks like I found one.
Thanks and +1!

Thanks, for commenting and voting :D
And please tell me how it worked for you if you start to play with it!

NestorCoelho I'll probably take out Abbot of Keral Keep as I don't have the funds yet for the entirety of this deck. I feel like while it's a competitive deck, a budget version of this still packs a whallop.

snarlmkiv, sure!
One thing I like in red decks is that you can make something really strong only with common/uncommon cards. It's possbile to make a FNM competitive deck which costs less than $20,00!!!

I'll make some tests tonight with 2 neonates, as you said, and I think they will work as we expect. :D
